  • Sublime. When he sings "crawl home to yooooo" it still kills me 30 years after first hearing it.

  • Old School! Get Down!

  • Excellent track!Takes me back to the clubs in Kansas City in '63.

  • This has been my #1 favorite Jimmy Reed song since I heard it when it was first released. I got to see him in person, in the 70s, just before he passed away. He was still FANTASTIC. Great show, with the legendary Jimmy Witherspoon also giving a great performance.

THIS SONG IS THE STORY OF MY LIFE. TIMES TWO.

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!! Love Jimmy!

  • oh jimmy reed you are amazing!! :)

  • Can anyone tell me what guitar he has there?

  • @Metalhead001122 not 100% sure. looks pretty much like an early 60's tele.

  • @thebradfordinvasion1 How does it look a thing like a fender telecaster?

  • @Metalhead001122 Its a Kay 161 guitar

  • @guitargold77 Thank you.

  • @Metalhead001122 Kay Thin - Twin 1950's "One of the most sought after Kay guitars from the 1950's. Commonly refered to as the ' Jimmy Reed ' guitar. Introduced by Kay around 1952 the same time as Gibson introduced the Les Paul. It is a semi-hollow body guitar and large than it's name 'thin' implies."

  • @jenniferjuniper97 Yeah, they are great looking guitars. Nice blond finish, faux tiger striped tortoise shell pick guard and tortoise binding around the top. The cream white radio style knobs finish it off nicely. The neck on the one I played was a bit chunky feeling but the thing had an undeniable early 50's blues / rock look to it that was very cool.

  • awsome music

  • You Know I Love you Jimmy!Ain't That Loving You Baby?!

  • Great! Simple but very effective..

  • amazing. thanks for sharing this!!!!!

  • the one man who pushed the dislike button didnt get no lovin ;)

  • @GreatBonFire so would we all Sir, but unfortuantely a lot of our blues masters weren't filmed in their prime

  • Jimmys got that great swing groove!!!! anyone play this have an easy tab on it. I'm thinking E A typuical reed style. but I'm missin something. anything would help thanks

  • This is what should be on the radio today.

  • Mathis James Reed born September 6, 1925....Lithlieth, Miss

  • Ain't that lovin' you Jimmy????

  • If you want to hear a fantastic cover of this song, check out the CD "Etta James Live" (1963.) It is one of the greatest live recordings ever made, by anybody. She also does a cover of Jimmy's "Baby What You Want Me To Do," where she does a very long harp solo with her VOICE! It is one of the most amazing things that I have ever heard.

  • I had been a very big fan of Jimmy's for about 20 years before I finally got to see him, in person, just before he passed away. He was GREAT until the very end. Yesterday I read, in the new Rolling Stone, about a new album by Elton John and LEON RUSSELL! It should be fantastic, but won't be available until October:( Leon tells Bernie Taupin that HE is now his #1 favorite song-writer. Bernie asks who used to be #1. Leon says, JIMMY REED!

  • Cool threads, guitar, and a rocking tune! JIMMY REED ladies & gentleman! OW!

  • Just great great music. Respect.

  • THIS has always been my favorite Jimmy Reed song.

  • @theoriginalbadbob I love this one AND Big BossMan

  • @THEMOJOMANsince1959 "Wimmins to the left of me, wimmins to the right of me, wimmins all around me, but I ain't got you." As far as I'm concerned, Jimmy never recorded a song that wasn't great. Please check out my 1st video upload. It's called SEX WITH CHICKENS. Thanks, and keep on rockin'.

  • @theoriginalbadbob I love the ending on this one THAT HARMONICA

  • Anyone want to take me up on my vow to do a tribute album, there isn't any of Jimmmie's music that I can't sing and blow!!
