Drumstep is just a name for half time drum and bass, which can sound similar to dubstep (still a bit faster than the average dubstep track though). Drumstep is a bit of a shit name, cause half time drum & bass has been around far longer than dubstep - it's just because of the popularity of dubstep/drum & bass recently that the "drumstep" name for half time dnb caught on.

But nah this track is just straight up drum & bass.

The kicks and snares are in the same places just with "drumstep" it happens to be over 170 bpm instead of 140 bpm. Techstep is "techno" influenced dnb a sound forged in the late 90's by the likes of Ed Rush and Optical
