Marc, Thank you for liberating this culture. It seals the envelope of love that I have for this state. I have lived here all my life. I am proud to be able to live here. How could home be anywhere else. Bien Merci pour tout qui tu fait.
I saw Marc, Michael & Ann as the Savoy / Doucet band for the 1st time at the Brandywine Friends of old time music festival........probably in the late 80's.. They have done a lot to promote the culture thru their wonderful music. Marc crafted the box that he is playing.....Beautiful piece of work ! !
@mairabella - nope you are quite right the last waltz is Jolie Joues Roses, the first song is jongle a mon. I was so excited about seeing Marc and Ann play that I didn't wait!

I believe it is "Jolies Joues Rose", you can find Ann singing it on The Best of Savoy-Doucet cajun band CD.

Sometimes a nice Cajun song, we wish. And interesting information on the construction of the Accordion.
Thanks Laurie
