wow, i forgot how awkward the HUD was when they showed this demo. Wish they had kept the mini-map, but why did they ever think putting the ammo count directly under the aiming reticle was a good idea?

Do you mean the effect when Shepard gets hit? I did not see him die in this clip and the enemy killing animations are impossibly the same as in ME1...

btw: in mass effect the story is important not the graphics ^^

New game plus is overrated. Basically forced you to play the game again for around 10 more levels of new abilities. This way you'll get to play different classes on your subsequent playthroughs, and they won't be nerfed when you finish the game on them.

It's simply less significant than people make it out to be. I can see the appeal and i've used it more than once. However, starting over with an entirely new class is much more interesting anyways. The only drawback to this in the original mass effect was that gunplay was rather poor early on until you'd either improved your weapons significantly or put points into those weapon skills. This doesn't seem to be the case with mass effect 2 in any case judging by this gameplay vid.

Yeah, but it's not really "reloading"....now, you just "manually cool down the gun" when it overheats, instantly. Different guns will still overheat faster/slower (i.e. more/less "ammo"), but you can "cool" them instantly by hitting the button which opens a cooling port on the gun... they said it's still cannon to the universe and weapon styles.
