  • Do you use a toaster, by the looks of it you cant find any recorder

  • Which Pixel Is The Ball??

  • Just type in Faldo Preset drill and watch. This is the best drill out there!!!!! Just hit about 20 or so 7 irons at the range a day and you will notice a HUGE improvement very quickly out on the course.

  • I was a scratch golfer in hs when I played everyday and can tell you this is a great drill to get you tempo on the right track. Sadly I don't get to play much anymore and am currently about a 8. Thus drill works for beginners just as much as pros. Just focus on what it is your trying to accomplish and commit.

  • What exactly was he trying to accomplish with this tempo drill, does any real golfer out there know?

  • @mrhowardb When you slow down your swing, it's easy to identify timing issues in your swing, such as your arms getting ahead of your legs. Next time you're at the range, try hitting a 7 iron 100 yards with a slow motion full swing. You'll only hit it clean and straight when your whole body is in sync. Once you've got it, gradually swing faster and faster until you're hitting it full distance. I once saw Vijay Singh hit over a hundred balls with a slow-mo 3 iron.

  • @mrhowardb try it. it shows where you are leaking the ball. if youre pulling it or cutting it or whatever. my coach showed it to me

  • @nikepumps123 ....I see....I see....Where and how to fix your leaks...left or right...

    thanks..

  • i'm 14, and off 7.5. type in ryan grays golf swing to see my swing, comment and see what you think. thanks

  • sounds like a nike

  • im 17 years old with handicap of 7.5 and have only been playing with 4 years..So if u put your mind to it you can get low by just playing and commitment

  • @Ivanrossoconnor to be honest thats not brilliant i have a friend who is 17 also and got cut this yr to 1

  • @jamiemcshafto ye what u saying?whats ur handicap 22?lol

  • this is not tiger woods FAKE

  • The last ball he hit had a different impact.

  • @rockbandnerd100 probably cause each swing was with increased power. obviously the first being a very casual swing, then worked his way to a full on swing on the 3rd one.

  • dont feel bad psf, i started at 47.

  • i think he likes Blackmen cause they have a big one with no head, sorta like a cigar.

  • 260, eh 260, eh, AHHH 300!!! lol

  • he looks like hes swingin real slow

  • Just been reading through the comments below. I have just started playing golf at the late age of 29 and have a VERY long way to go but, my word, I am already addicted! What a great game. To all of you below - keep at it! Here's to better consistency and all the draws and fades you could want!

  • @psfpsfpsfpsf I work at a golf course washing carts and play on my varsity highschool golf team, and it is amazing to me how many people I meet that say they wish they would have started playing golf when they were in highschool.

  • @LightningLemke17 haha i am one of them...

  • @psfpsfpsfpsf My grandma Just started plating and have green card now 69 years old :D so ur not that late out :P

  • @psfpsfpsfpsf i'm right with ya, i'm 23 and i started 3 months ago and i've never been so addicted to anything in my life, play every day now hours on end, i know it's only been 3 months but i can say for certain unless i lose my arms or legs or worse, i will be playing this sport for the rest of my life :)

  • My handle is hockey, because I am involved in hockey. I don't know everything about all that stuff. And I don't know what happened to Pavin in qualifying. But hitting it long isn't everything. Look at Rocco he is a very short hitter and he challenged Tiger last year. At U.S. Opens and really any professional tournament to win you have to have a good short game along with hitting it well. But if your short game is bad your chances of winning go very low.

  • Comment removed

  • Believe it or not it's not all about hitting it far and down the middle. It's the short game. I know an 80 year old man who plays 6600 courses, hits drives 210 and shoots mid 70's because he has a great short game.

  • Why is your handle "hockey"? - let me guess - you know everything about golf, hockey, hunting, fishing, football, baseball, basketball, etc.. Corey Pavin has one of the best short games in the history of the game. Why isn't he the favorite in the US Open this week? Better yet, why isn't he even in the field for the tournament?

  • He wasn't talking about winning the US Open. To win a US Open, or any major for that matter, you have to be a great all around player. The 80 year old man he was talking about isn't in the majors, so don't start talking about the US Open.

  • You lost me, Tiger Woods is in this video, right? A comparison was made between the ability of the best player in the world to drive the golf ball and the importance of the short game. I'll try this again. If it's all about the short game then why aren't the best short game players on tour winning every week? Since my last post this has now evolved into "You have to have a great short game but hit it good too." You got me, the team that scores the most goals usually wins in hockey, too.

  • No one really "wins" the US open (08 Torry Pines was an exception), it's almost always the "last man standing." You keep plugging away with pars and other players eventually falter and make big numbers. Look at Lucas Glover, hitting 6-iron off the tee, while Ricky Barnes was hitting it all over w/ driver. Lucas didn't really win it, others handed it to him because he was consistently making pars at a course that screams bogey on every hole

  • Just to add two cents. It's fairly patronising to say mid handicappers can't shape the ball. I'm off 15 and I'd say most golfers of all levels who take a keen interest in golf (rather than just turning up and hacking it) know how to shape the ball. The fine tuning and consistency is obviously not there - hence the handicaps - but we all know how to open up for a fade, and close for a draw.

  • yes but most amateurs are not consistant with this eg they go to hit a draw and pull it or they have the face open so it goes too straight and vice versa

  • AceGuitarR7, you're a funny man. I too am a good striker of the ball and you and I are not on single figures because we lack the consistency. Too imply you should be on single figures cause you strike the ball well is ridiculous.

  • I can hear what he's saying, not that clear though.

  • Who is the retard who recorded this? Or even better, why would someone post this on youtube, you can't see it, nor hear what he is saying..

  • because people are stupid can you tell lol

  • Can't really hear the video to know what he's saying

  • jesus yank 5 handicappers must be shit to play off 13 in the uk its basically a requirement to be able to willingly shape the ball

  • im with you jmaer91, cornick you sound like a complete asswipe, big up vvu642 my fellow 11 handicapper :)

  • no idiot is a cup you have very close too you. it is handy. then u switch the "y" with an "i" and you get handicup. what an asshole you are. learn to make fun of other people with your own language stupid. and yes i know how to hit it both

  • you must be the best 11 handicapper in the world, coz the ones i have played with cant even keep it in the golf course.

ps.a slice and a snap hook do not count for being able to hit it both ways xxx.

  • yep I guess you are right. I mean Tiger Woods is No. 1 in the world...and you can't hit a ball for shit!!!!

  • wow you definitly have no idea of golf. i am a 11 handicup player and i know how to hit a draw or a fade if i wont to. tiger has almost absolut control of the ball. but of course with such a fast swing you can make mistakes. but he definitely knows when he hits a draw or a fade. you should know a little bit more before talking

  • an 11 handicap digger who can hit it both ways, now that is funney!

Ps i was joking with my below comments you idiot. And what is a handicup, something you drink out of?

  • Verdict:

    vvu642 = Win

cornick99 = Epic FAIL AT LIFE

  • fucking hate yanks!

  • Just luck? youve never seen anyone set up for an obvious fade? or a draw? It is possibe... i play of 13 and i can do it. Douche bag.granted it doesnt allways work but thats like any shot. An A grade golfer should be able to do it. Its called course management. The amount of different things tiger would be able to do with a golf ball would shock you... a fade or a draw are the easiest. Hes got plenty more shots up his sleave.

  • People cant take a joke.I have seen woods practise a number of times and he is unbeliavable, get a sense of humour. As for mid handicap golfers being able to control the flight both ways that is just laughable, if you did it you just got lucky! ps i repeat i slice and a hook are not controlled,i bet you diggers dont even know the definition of a fade and a draw, happy digging xxxx.

  • well sarcasm doesnt come across well on youtube... thats fair enough if it was a joke.. im sorry, i do have a sense of humour. However you continue to say that its impossible for a mid handicapper to set up for a fade or draw, are you still being sarcastic or are you just a moron?

  • he's right,. i play 5, and im learning only now how to fade and draw. a player who shots +10 / +15 cant do draw or fade properly. unless he trains a lot on it, but you know, at that handicap i'd just focus on hitting it STRAIGHT. :)

  • It depends on the individual though. Some players may never know. They just try and hit the ball stright and whatever happens happens. But to say someone cant hit a draw or fade because of what their handicap is, is ridiculous. I myself am a very good ball striker, i should be on single figures but lack consistency day in day out. I know how to hit a draw and a fade. It doesnt allways work but thats like any shot.

  • well you know if a 20hcp player is taught how to hit a draw or fade, and he keeps training on it, he can do it. what i mean, is that a middle-high handicap players does not strictly need to be able to do a draw or fade to play golf.

  • well then yes i agree with that. Its not necessary for middle-high handicappers to hit a draw or fade. What cornick99 was saying though is that its impossible for a mid handicapper to hit a draw or fade on purpose and if they did it, it was a fluke.

  • Comment removed

  • problem is you slice it 30 yards right and hook it 30 yards left. easier to do with irons

  • @iainlbc I have a 17.4 handicap, but I consistently shoot 20-25 over par. Slope is a big factor in GHIN system.

  • totally agree learn to hit it straight then learn how to shape it. I'm playing of 7 and I'm only starting to shape shots how I want them.

  • Yeah im 16 and a stratch golfer now but i had never even started to learn how to shape shots until i got my handicap down to a 3 or 4.

  • likewise i just hit 3 handicap and ive started doing some pretty advanced lessons with a couple pros I know in Canada. I use to just hit, chip, putt. Now I have a ton of shots up my arsenal that can suit any situation ;)

  • soz tiger

  • wow.... dumbshit

  • search "doccrunch" and become a putter :)

  • Tiger's wrote that his natural shot was a draw quite a few years ago. Since then he has changed his swing to favor a fade, which is now his go-to shot.

As for the 13th at Augusta, anyone who says he isn't hitting a draw should be banned for life from making golf commentary.

  • WRONG.....Tiger now plays more of a draw now than ever....all you have to do is watch him in person. Haney's flatter more rotary swing has promoted a defininte bigger draw in Tiger's current swing.

  • i love that loud thunk sound at impact you get when you catch the ball on the upper half of the clubface. perfect

  • Tiger used to hit a very slight draw on the majority of his shots. Nowadays, he is a much more versatile player and mixes it up alot more.

It is very obvious now to know exactly what shot he is hitting by his followthrough.

  • Is someone on here arguing that Tiger can't hit a draw? That's ridiculous! Tiger's natural shot is a draw. Go read Tiger Woods' "How I play Golf" and you see it plain as day. Tiger says, and I quote, "my natural shot is a slight draw." So the genius on here saying he can't draw it...hush up. More pro's need to learn the fade. All the greats hit that. Hogan, Nicklaus, Tiger, Trevino, and most recent, Phil is even perfecting this shot. A true control fade is actually harder to teach than a draw.

  • Um Im sure if he couldn't play a draw he wouldn't be where he is and most of the players on tour need to hit more power fades then draws anyway

  • he can hit a draw, but even if he couldn't he'd still beat everyone's ass.

Spunkgiver, tiger would probably whip you with a 7 iron and a putter.

  • holly shit...a one year old even knows that shit...that guys 100% mentally retarded

  • k fucktard

    /watch?v=BX_w9EW8_7Y&feature=related

half of what your saying doesnt even make sense

what the fuck is a golfing criminal?

and how is he an illegal immagrant?

  • UMM, my dad is actually the fairway attendant on the 13th hole at Augusta and has been for the past 16 years. And you're an idiot if you think Tiger doesn't draw it on the 13th, he usually uses 3 wood anyways, you have no idea what you're talking about

  • Is that why the last two years he's hit a driver?

  • sandojp is right, ive NEVER seen tiger hit driver on that hole because if he blocks hes in the trees and pineneedles.

  • haha

  • Tiger can play whatever shot he wants. your just retarded.

  • i followed him at both wingfoot and oakmont and saw him hit plenty of draws....the 650 yard par 5 12 at oakmont....ya...he hit a bomb draw of the tee to the base of the fairway bunker....and # 2 at wingfoot....over drew it into the trees 10 ft behind me from where i then watched him hit a low draw underneath and slightly around a tree up onto the green...your an idiot...tiger plays w.e shot is needed to be played

  • NEITHER. Some guy just watching Tiger. THATS IT.

  • he isnt with any coach, hes with his caddy

  • no he isn't

  • hate to tell you guys.. first.. it's NOT butch.. because tiger's EXPLAINGING what he's doing to the guy... next what the drill really is, is that he's cutting his driver down to about 30-40% to accenuate his swing flaws... to figure out what's going on in his swing and correct it... i do the same drill almost daily... (and i got it from a tip that he did for golf digest)

  • no!

  • I belive he's working on increasing his speed with the three step process

  • no offence but the vision is horrible but its ok by the way

  • who is the man behind Tiger? It´s Butch?

  • Steve

  • no it's butch because steve doesn't usually sit in on Tiger's practice sessions

  • actually sometimes he drops in before his contact but he has chilled out with that and been in the fairway more, staying true to what his father drilled into him - get on the green in two peace

  • he's just working on staying within himself. you kno how he tends to drop his head down and crouch on the downswing.

  • the only thing hes workin on similar to sorenstams is releasing hes head after he hits the ball

  • i believe thats before he hits the ball

  • did he say "trying to get his path organized and progressively...?"

  • yeah he did

  • dude, even with the slow swing, you can hear how solid he hits it.

  • not even close

  • According to his website, he's working on something similiar to Annika Sorenstam's swing.

  • What he's working on doing is turning his head through with the club to avoid hanging back and hooking the ball.

  • Yes the drill is that. to increase the accuracy of the ball alothough im 14 i know what it is i go to lesson every week so hear me now.

1 st shot is to hit comfortably and dead straight 2nd ball must be increased with power and then straight and last one should be cranked up

  • you are right :)

  • Not exactly sure on the drill but from the looks of it his swing speed is 50%, 75%, and then 100%.

  • wow you'll never see tiger swing that slow/smooth on the course (for the driver).

  • LMNFAO

  • Tiger was increasing his swing speed incrementally with each ball.

  • it is tiger your fucking morons!!!

  • LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO hahahha first comment here is unbelievable

  • hahaha seriously hahahahaha

  • ur swing does look alot like tigers what do you play off

  • That is Tiger Woods you moron.

  • what's the drill?

  • the back swing looks a little different from tigers.but nice swing bro.
