  • Wow, I'm korean but I can't imagine eating the live ones. Maybe I'll try them next time I visit the korea. Really enjoying your video:)

  • I ate some bear before!!!!

  • I don't think it has a lot of flavor. It's more of a texture thing isn't it? And the idea of eating something like that.. I think that's what attracts people. The novelty factor. Do you already have a video of you eating 번데기? Now that's bizarre and gross!

  • you are breaking your kosher food rules by eating live octopus? but would you rather eat that than being big? LOL

  • It looks quite yum to me - I'm not being sacarstic. We eat a lot of raw fish and seafood but I never try raw octopus. Just wonder how you felt why you swallow it? Did the tentacle cups suck on yr esophagus when it went down to yr stomach ?

  • @guqingal Yeah... It was good. It only stuck to my mouth for a few seconds.

  • I ate before fried scorpion (it was great!), snake (tastes like fish but with rubber texture), and dog hamburger! ( I hate it!)

  • @MusseBo Dog hamburger... Damn! Check out my Eating Dog in Korea vid.

  • omg that was awesome! definitely something ill have to try when i move out there in a month! thanks! lol

  • I never would began to eat Octopuses - they brothers and sisters Paul

  • OMG YESSS I ate live octopus too at the fish market in Seoul. :D The leg stucked to my finger when I picked it up and tried to eat,but the octopus wouldn't come off,so I just bit it and wala. :D

  • I haven't watched your videos in quite a few months (I've been busy), but you must have bought a new camera, they're looking great!

  • It looks tasty... for some reason. haha

  • It's not really alive, it's just the nerves twitching.

  • @sega31098 Obviously.

  • eat it with 초고추장

  • daaaaaamn

  • Kpop Dictionary (FREE app)

  • I was expecting you to say that it taste like chicken.

  • even some korean can't eat 'SanNakji(?)' but you did I feel that you love korean culture

  • Okkkk u see that... that is y I'm turning vegetarian when i go to korea

  • hahah they sauce themselves!

  • The craziest thing i have ever eaten is pork ears. I was 7 & thought it was just a random piece of meat. I remember it as a chewy sensation. :) you guys should try it..

  • Wow. You are so brave. You should try the whole live octopus as well. The craziest thing I've ever eaten is a fried scorpion.

  • @leohyun Scorpion! Awesome!.. I wanna try that.

  • i actually enjoyed san nakji, but i totally hated the sea cucumber-dickshappedthinggie-whateveriscalled (kaebul? kaemul?, i'm not sure), it tastes like nothing, i tried it in HK and Busan and i sorta liked the cantonese version of it (since it had a good sauce, hence the thing tasted like the sauce) but the korean version, didn't taste good. anyways, they are both awful, stay way from it

  • @puntosuspensivo Hmmm... Yeah I don't know if I'll ever try that. Sauce is good though.

  • have not yet tried it. awesome video!

  • Oh yeah...sooo good. I ate it last year. My Haitian mom thought I was crazy. haha

  • lol looka t your friend's face at 02:59 He is like why am i doing this???

  • gawd!! I wouldnt be able to do that..!! I would freak out if something was wiggling in my mouth...!!! But I admire your ability to try new stuff...

  • That's crazy! I might try to get that when I go!

  • Lol you look so drunk if anyone asked you how it tasted you probably would have said it tastes like chicken. That looks like Nokdujeon(Mung bean Pancake) the big pancake on the table I love that it's so tasty.

  • Love the side dishes brave soul. I would drown it with red pepper paste.

  • Oooo men !! I envy you !! When I was in Pusan (Just 3 days in July), I wanted to eat an alive octopus ! Aaaahahaha ! How do you say that ? 산낙지 ? But I eat somes 번데기, so I think it's okay :D (My Korean friends have found it disgusting). Maybe the next year 8D ~~

  • I have eaten the creature you showed at the last part of your video. I mean that penis like sea creature. We call them "gaebul" in Korean. We cute them in pieces and eat them raw. Actually, they are very delicious. It taste like sweat sea water and a lot better than live octopus. I highly recommend it. You should try.

  • @swimbae Hmmm. I gotta try it. Are they eaten live?

  • @durkeeinkorea Well, technically they are all dead but their nerves are still intact. So you will see those small cut pieces moving a little bit when you touch them with chopstick. But they don't wiggle like octopus.

  • @durkeeinkorea

If they are cut into pieces, they are obviously not alive.

  • @Arguemento Ahhh, yeah. I've heard it's good. Was it?

  • Ha! That was awesome. I think I saw something similar in an old episode of the Amazing Race (it was one of the challenges). As far as the craziest thing I've ever eaten, aside from the occasional bug I swallowed while riding my bike, I would have to say jellyfish, cut up in a salad. It was crunchy, like a cucumber wrapped in jell-o.

  • @7158dgarcia Wow! Raw jelly fish??? Where?

  • @durkeeinkorea You can get jelly fish in Korea. If you go to Chinese restaurant in Korea, order "Hae-pah-ri Naeng-Chae" That means jelly fish salad with mustard sauce. They are pretty good. Try them later.

  • Wow! ...all I can say is move over Anthony Bourdain

  • @jed350 I wonder if he's ever tried it. I think Zimmern has.

  • one more,.what if you swallowed a whole bunch of them squerming,. please try that. must be a stomach cha-cha goin on.

  • @TheLivingDeadOne Haha! Stomach Cha-cha! Win!

  • It looks as though the Octopus coats itself in the sauce. Crazy how the Octopus legs are still alive after being chopped up but I think I would try it. It's not like they are serving you dog poop and you're the only one. HEHE,. It's what they eat. I think if I traveled, I'd try any delicacy they offered,..except poop.

  • @TheLivingDeadOne That's a great mindset. I figure "hey, people eat it...I'll eat it"... but yeah, no poops for me either!

  • Not in this lifetime!

  • Your camera takes great clips...and that sannakshi looks incredible. I've always wanted to try it.

  • @MrJingjong Yeah man!

  • what camera do you use btw?

  • @nakassak Nikon D7000.

  • poor sucker! get it? haha. looks delicious

  • @nakassak He didn't stand a chance.

  • I too was expecting to see the WHOLE octopus to be gobbled down, but eeewwwww go you! The craziest thing I've ever had was this redhead I once ate, she was nucking futts!

  • @RavensGawkStudio Hiiyo!

  • oh i thought it was the WHOLE octopus that they wrap around the chopsticks and you swallow it in one go!!! "whew!"......

  • @LaJYankee That... that, I couldn't do!

  • Not something I would ever do really. Even when I was eating meat.

  • It was actually surprising that you hadn't tried until now.

  • @dufrhd5 I know man. It's been on my Korean to-do list forever!

  • nice,...It's just nice

  • @liza183 Damn right!

  • i eat them all the time ,just got to have some soju ready incase they stick too much !

  • @daewooparts The soju's always ready in my hood. Oh yeah!

  • uh. I ate a grasshopper once in high school. my teacher told me to eat it.....

  • @MelenaKay ??? Really???

  • Fried pig feet in Malaysia!! Was greasy as hell..!!

  • @jhk2h Hmmm. FRIED? cool!

  • Also on my Korean bucket list

  • @onceatraveler Do it!

  • Yes! Now all that's left is to gather the courage to try those things at the end. Yeah. ;-D

  • @EvannRachel I vowed years ago to never put anything resembling a cockadoodledoo in my mouth. I'll eat a hotdog on the fourth of july... but it's only to show my patriotism.

  • aliens

  • @SNSDFMV Good god!

  • mhmmmmmmmmmm

  • Strangest thing would be the silkworm larvae here in Korea. Other food I've had that isn't as strange dog, chicken feet, rattlesnake, BBQ pig intestine (makchang), and fish eyeballs. By far the best is still BBQ dog in Vietnam.

  • @jedediahcox ... BBQ dog! Interesting! I LOVE pig intestine too!

  • It's not that crazy, but this one time I drank a 30 year old bottle of Coke.

  • @hickyhojo Gahhh! What was it like?

  • Sannakji! BOO YEAH
