an easier way to open the box is just grab one end of the scissors by the handle, and put the blade in..then slide it across instead of using the conventional open/close method. just so you know :)

Pantech doesn't suck, they just make basic phones because that is their market. They don't compete in the high end or middle end market much, so that's why you don't see anything you'd consider "nice" from them...

IMO in the market they compete in they are pretty good... :)
