Channel V had a contest six years ago looking for good singers to create a band. These four singers, two girls and two boys won the contest and they are called Aasma. At the end of the contest a video is made for them to kick start their career.

Apparently this was a second band introduced by Channel V, the first one is called Viva and their first song was Hum Naye Geet Sunaye.
