Great phone but you have to be careful of the many bugs that may come with the phone including the text bug. Messages get stuck in the outbox and dont send unless deleted and retyped.

@8150shaf well i got the Desire. To be honest, the screen on HD2 is larger, but not amoled as in Desire, so sharper crisper colours. (in Desire) And the main thing why i got the Desire. OS It's Android 2.1 very soon getting the update 2.2, and on HD2 you are stuck with Windiows 6.5 for ever. That's sad and boring. On Android devices updates come out, and you update them. Another thing. Android is way more stable than windows always was. It's like compering macintosh to windows. Stable and faster

@8150shaf Trust me get the desire that's what i went for. Bigger screen, but not amoled, so Desire has crisper, real colours and sharper screen than the HD2. Another main thing i got the Desire. OS. Updates come out for android devices and you can update them , but on HD2 you are stuch with winmo6.5 for ever. Plus. Android is faster and more, stable so you don't have to restart your phone every week of using, because something freezed or crashed.

@lotsblocks I think one can get some Flash lite working on the Opera browser with some tweaking, but you have to be reasonably tech savvy for that (frankly I think you should be if you want to get the most out of a WinMo device).

Another, easier option is using the Skyfire web browser, which is very fast and has good (faux) Flash support because websites go through the Skyfire servers before being sent to the device, not to get into the technical details.

both are very different phones. In NYC (not sure where you're from) but the choose is using verizon's network (for the blackberry Storm) or Tmobile (with the HTC) I think the HTC is simply..BEAUTIFUL its something you HAVE to see in person. And see which network you like more...

You need to decide that for your self. I mean this phone is great, and the interface that HTC build on-top of WM6.5 is great. But...HTC couldn't cover then entire WM6.5 UI ofcourse. Sometimes you will switch back to the WM6.5 interface, but most of the stuff that you will need is in the HTC interface. The real plus, is that you can modify it the way you want it..

The Iphone has a great interface, but it isn't all that hardware wise. And the big turn off for me is, that you can not modify your iphone to your own needs (unless jail break).

Both great phones and both have their drawbacks, you need to decide for yourself what you want to do, with your phone
