  • @Th3Way24

No they are just water base non toxic paint markers. You can wash them off with soap and water, but they will stay on temporarily if you like.

They are Posca Pens. I have a link in the description to where you can get them. They work on all types of surfaces. You just have to apply a clear when you're finished. I have painted a couple guitars. Look on my Channel and you can see them.

  • @caroth94

    Thank you! &

Yup, I use a krylon clear spray paint. Any acrylic base clear will work too.

  • @caroth94 heys, thanks for answering, and before drawing? sorry for all the annoying questions. im doing one to a friend and i dont wanna mess it. :D

  • @caroth94

Its okay, You can prep the board 2 ways.

    1) sand it down smooth or

    2) use a Krylon white primer spray paint.

  • @Zboy4LIFEE u can get the markers from anywhere i would recromend amazon, the pens are called uni posca

  • Dude fucking amazing!!!

  • that too much of the drew brophy style get ur own then u will be really good

  • @brozekboarddesigns

For a person's style to ever evolve one must "copy", "mimic" or take inspiration from another. Drew Brophy is like my mentor in this style of art. If you look in history books many artists would imitate their master's/mentor's work. This doesn't mean they didn't have their own style of work, but over time their work would evolve and become their own. Drew Brophy worked under the artist of Rick Griffin and many others.

  • @Joeyyyyyy08 awesomee!! good for you, best of luck. we'll wait for your art evolution.!!

  • @Zboy4LIFEE

    @Zboy4LIFEE,

well This style I was inspired by the artist Drew Brophy! I never really took classes to draw or paint. The pens are awesome, there is a link under the info of the video to where you can buy them. Also check out the link to my website.

  • I love the little paint monster on your hand

  • I was thinking, have you riden the board since painting it. If it flexes won't the paint crack a little?

  • @Kufunninapuh I haven't completely rode on it yet, but I did a couple stress tests and it seem to hold up Ill be able to ride it this summer. Ill let you know on that.

  • okay dude when you mix the colors how do you do it? do you let the first color dry up some bit or work with it wet? ( thats what she said)

    thanks:]

  • LOL!!!! Yea I mix when the paint is wet, the trick is you have to be confident and work fast. The paint takes about 20 - 30 seconds to dry so there is play in the paint. Also just have fun!

  • @Joeyyyyyy08

haha dude thats fucken crzy no lie and ill see how it goes. but fuck i get soo fucken nervouse.... i over think it...

btw where do you get your markers at?

  • @TheSack418

Yea, just play around with them I posted the link in the video info for where i order my pen. the site is call durable supply company

  • dude its amazing i was gonna do the same wit my old board

posca markers are very nice to work wit i do graffiti and i use em for that

how long did it accualy take?

  • Thanks maytag233

Yea posca is great. The board took just over an hour to paint.

  • Thanks a bunch! I'll check the facebook page!

  • Hey, Kufunninapuh,

Thank you! I sprayed 3 coats of krylon white primer. Lightly sanded that to make it nice and smooth, use like 600 grit. When I finish I sprayed minwaxs polyurethane. The trick is to do many "mist sprays" first, otherwise if you lay on a heavy coat, the paint will blur. Once you feel that there is a good amount then lay on 3 full coats.

  • First of all that is absoluely beatiful! Second. Did you prepare the board somehow? I'm buying a blank and plan to paint it with similar markers. Does it wear off at all? Did you process it when done in any way, like a clear paint... I can't find the word here... You know what i mean. Thanks!

  • @Kufunninapuh

Also, take a look at my Facebook page I have many other paintings you would like. Become a Fan to help the support.

    Thanks for you comment!

    more videos to come.

  • Nicely done!

  • Thanks Guy!

  • That's Amazing!!!!!!!!
