yeah there is a difference. the pvp gear make you do more damage 2 players and receive less damage. also there are better stats for pvp gear.

you can play all classes in pvp they are really balanced if you play an assasin and cant fly fights then get a frend and train it they are too good in the ait ;)

So i get a cleric heals, thats cool, i like healing. What does a chanter do? Do they heal also or are they more for giving buffs? I could never tell the difference between a cleric and a chanter. Any comments? =D

they are sort of like a hybrid with the main focus being buffing the group (by doing various things in combat mostly). but they can also do some healing, and they also do slightly more (melee) dps then clerics

where did you get the song after airwave? Marcross Frontier(anime ost) - Niang Niang special medley service you mentioned earlyer in the comments that the name was. After long searching I only managed to find the right Airwave song version, but havent found the second song.

Ncsoft releases weekly patches with all of its games, "dumb ass". Can someone please help me out real quick, im quitting WoW for Aion and was looking into rolling a Cleric. From my understanding a Cleric is the main healing class for Aion, but how are they on damage? How are they in PvP, and how are they on leveling? Thanks =]

Their damage just got buffed in the newest patch, so it's not that bad. In PvP clerics are a really really strong 1v1 class, and even more incredible in groups. Level after level 25 is as fast as any other class, up to level 25 can be a pain - though you will die a lot less than other classes!

your job is to heal lol, if your looking for damage in pvp you might consider another class, the only thing in pvp you'd be doing as a cleric is healing other members and maybe rooting or a chain spell stun to stop people from running, that's about it.

I HAVE played a cleric, so obviously you should STFU because your job as a cleric is to heal, do a little damage maybe, but a cleric is a main healer for a reason, once again if you want to do damage roll sorc, this isn't WoW clerics heal and are expected to heal.

BEST pvp ive seen so far r by this Legion & their commander. most other pvp vids r jus high lvl asmos Pking mid lvl elyos. this shows equal lvl on both side n out numbered elyos kick the dogshyt outta the asmodeans.non-believers should checkout all the vids by Phalanx commander, even has a PK spree by herself(himself?) against many at once.

I love Aion (based on the beta experiences) but we'll have to see how the end game looks once the NA release (and version 1.5 hits).

Because it looked like the Cleric used Flash of Recovery (30s cooldown instant heal, not sure the translated name) and the Chanter used his really strong HoT at the very begenning of you getting focused. Or do Clerics/Chanters get more instant emergency heals towards level 50?

from wat i've been watching, it seems liek each class has adv and disadv against certain classes. that being said, all classes have decent burst damage. for clerics and chanters, their damage is constant damage and have heals. for templars, tehy have good def and does well against melee.

There are no "PvE" classes or "PvP" classes. NCsoft will do their best to give everybody a role in PvP and PvE. Roll what character you think will look best, no class is "better" then any other class at PvE or PvP.

Sadly Aion is very easy and familiar and good for melee classes by auto following and dominating dps of their. Caster classes are kinda doomed in current version. And Aion's PvP tempo is about x4~x8 times faster than DAoC's one. I've played DAoC for 5years also and have 3 toons that reached rr11 :p
