At least they didn't say that too much sugar also causes obesity, and that obesity can lead to diabetes.
Personally, I'd go for high-fibre pasta with marinara sauce and a few shrimp, instead of the vegetable soup, because the soup on its own wouldn't keep you feeling full for very long.
