wow! I have never heard of this plane until now. The cockpit looks so amazing!! way better than the one of the PMDG version. Would this be a better choice than the pmdg one?!

PMDG is the 747-400....CLS Is 747-200-300

No, it´s 747-200/300, PMDG one is 747-400. And PMDG have realistic systems like FMC and others, that one uses fsx default flight planner, so it´s not so good. But outside model is nice.

I gotta tell you, when I saw the thumbnail for the video, I thought it was real. Watching the over the wing view of the takeoff, once you start getting altitude and begin flying over the fields, I think anyone would be fooled into thinking it was real!

I have the CLS 747, i usually take off and climb at 7 degrees. Is that too low? What should climb at?

i fing i hate. this winglfex. bcoz i just came from travelcitydirect 747-300 from the US. the winglfex is totally visible and it does go higher then what CLS have said .

I have no problem with it lagging in FS2004, but b/c of FSX high settings, and new texture formats, if you don't have a pc even slightly close to a fast CPU, it may lag. I have a Pentium 4 3.66GHz w/ HT, and it runs well on FS2004, but FSX it sucks, I would rather spend my time getting free addons for FS9(2004) to look like FSX and still have good framerate, rather than having to buy an atomic pc to run FSX.

First I installed UK2k Part 6 into FS9 including the update for UK2000 Part 6. Then I moved the UK2000 folder from FS9 to FSX/Addon Scenery/. But I dont get the big black patches and the runway textures itself are ok as you can see in the video?!

Some lil bugs are still there. If you look at 1:24, you can see that the tires disappear in the runway. And the parking positions are not aligned with the Terminals, because the AFX file of the original FSX Manchester Airport overlays the UK2000 one.

You can download an additional INS adddon, that adds the INS. ;)

The wing view is done by normal FSX. In the options you can set the keys for moving the eyepoint in virtual cockpit. Its not anymore in development, its realesed, look at CLS' homepage.

this is cls' independent version and is still very premature. just flight will publish it when it has its 'f-lite' fmc, freighter version(not yet released), and some other work that needs doing it are finished
