  • is any sea salt good for you our store doesnt sell any of those others :(

  • Great video! Very informative! Have you heard of Makai Pure sea salt? It's a deep ocean sea salt and the most pure on the planet! :)

  • @carlamariadel No, I'll have to check it out.

  • @MamaNaturalBlog Great! Also, check out this video. I'm sure you'll love it.

Also, check out the youtube video "My potato project, the importance of organic"

  • @hoogys I use Kosher salt sometimes. It's delicious and a "purer" salt than table.

  • OH MY GOD 1:00 = LOLLLLLL x LOLLLLLLL Adore!

  • Celtic grey sea salt!!

  • It has a definite flavor, although I hadn't thought of it as sweet. If you want to taste a really sweet salt, try pink salt! (Or is that the same as Himalayan salt?)

  • I love RealSalt (mined from an ancient seabed in Redmond, Utah) even more than Himalayan or any other sea salt!

  • @hats2farm That's another option. It tastes sweet to me.

  • 1:00 - 1:02.

Hahaha! That made my bust up laughing.

But, I'm looking forward to trying the salts you listed off, I need a better option. I'm currently having high blood pressure problems and even though i dont put it on my food it's still high from it already being in the food. I mainly put pepper and some chilli powder or cayenne powered on it. Mm gives it a good ol' kick.

    Lol.

  • @RavenMidnight911 We had a giggle too. I love red pepper chili flakes too! Trader Joe's also makes a 22 seasoning blend that has no salt and brings good flavor. Cheers.

  • @MamaNaturalBlog

Can't wait too get some :)

  • @RavenMidnight911 I love red pepper flakes! Trader Joe's also makes a great 22 seasoning blend with no salt/sodium. Cheers.

  • i dont like salt, the rest of my family loves it. can you lick that giant salt rock?

    love your channel

  • @kaboomfamilyVlog I suppose you can lick it but not sure if it would taste good. LOL!

  • @MamaNaturalBlog yes, so long as it's not coated with any thing, or dusty, you can lick it ;-) I had to put my raw lamp up because my children were licking it.

  • I didn't realize that the saltiness of kelp was natural. Very interesting. My husband has us using an "electrolyte salt." Something about loads of trace minerals making it very good for recovery and performance...basically everything you were saying about the sea salts.

  • @TheAppieShow Very nice! Smart hubby :).

  • You should tell us some recipes you use your healthy salts, sugars, fats, ect in! Or reccomend a cookbook that uses them?

  • @fattiecane Wow, good idea! Oh there's so many... a great classic cook book is Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon.

  • I just got some pink Himalayan sea salt from Trader Joe's over the weekend. I prefer it over other salt because I heard it's mineral rich and natural. Where do you get your kelp powder from?

  • I love the lamp! Beautiful! LOVE OUR SEA SALT! We also use kelp and dulse here too! You are fabulous!

  • You're great =)

  • I love the Himalayan Sea Salt
