People who say the British version is better are either British snobs or people who try to be different by going against the mainstream audience. The American "Office" managed to be clever, quirky, and endearing. No matter how many times Michael made me cringe, I always sympathized with him in the end. The UK version was just too mean spirited and unpleasant to watch, and the characters were too cardboard. USA OFFICE FTW.

The new season 8 sucks so far. Season 7 wasn't that good either.I watched the first 10 min. of "the list" before I new the show was not going to be funny. Whether the sitcom brings new ideas it won't matter because it's not funny. Micheal Scott was the funniest character. Dwight had his moments but I got sick of him because they kept switching his character. Viewers need to move on to a new show, that goes for Jay Leno viewers. Conan is a Hit!
