I had an Sk-1 as a kid and this demo song brings back memories. I also had no instruction booklet, and I still remember where I was when I figured out that it sampled, in the hallway at my g-mas house. Of course I burped into it once blessed with such power.

Figley, I think the comment from Spynetwork was saying that... here is some talent that DOESN'T have to circuit bend. And if you look at an SK-1 you will see that it has a synthesizing button right on the top interface. I think your the one that needs to know your shit. Good luck.

i know that the sk-1 HAS a "synthesizing" button...that doesnt mean anything. the sk-1 was and still is around 30 dollars and is nothing more than a childs toy...i do like them, dont get me wrong...but hardly a synth...and by the way...sk-1 stands for SAMPLING KEYBOARD... keyboard...not synthesizer.

no it isn't. that is actually one of the built-in melodies the sk-1 plays by itself. like most music by "casiotone for the painfully alone", we have mice was made by just recording a preset from the sk-1 and then putting his shitty vocals on top.
