@ClosetHippie1010 if you want, there's a free software which can give you all the different pinyin pronunciations, it's called "pinyin chart" you can find it on chinespod (dot) com, no need to suscribe or anything.

1 initial consonant + 1 vowels = 1 syllable. for instance : y(consonant)+ing(vowel) = ying(syllable), zh+an=zhan

Sometimes we need a little bit more explanation so that we are forming the sounds correctly, but this is a great daily practice!

(There are a few mispronunciations though--like the last sequence of "ying" which was actually pronounced by the leader as "yong" and then everyone just kind of followed suit). Oh well, nothing's perfect! Not bad!
