I'm wondering if I could ask the price you bought this for, preferably including shipping cost.
The reason I ask is I'm looking into finding a RHD restoration project 240z much like this one, and am thinking import is going to be the only possibility.
i paid $2500 for the car about 5 yrs ago not running out of San Diego. Its still not done, but really not in any rush as you can see haha. I still drive it to the store once a week :)
Ah, that's a pretty good price... In the range I'm looking at, gives me hope of finding one atleast, haha.
Regardless, hope you find the time/money to do what you want with it, it's obviously got potential. Good luck with project, but have fun with it (that's most important after all)
@ColtSSR glad to see im not the only one who likes that old barn look haha everyone else seems to like shiny paint and while it has its moments... they all look the same.. crappy paint for the win!
i have an 86 chevy elcamino ss project but i want a 68 cougar project car i found in a junkyard its only missing a passenger side floor but your car is still awesome i want one!
Nice! I have a 1970 RHD just like that. Mine has the rear spoiler but no flares. I'm going to restore it all original.... painting it orange. Thanks for the video. I haven't had mine running yet.
extremely rare to see it makes me happy to know the car is in tucson i go there every mondayhope someday i see it on the road youre very lucky to have this car congratulations hope you the best.
it doesnt need a paint job r-tard it needs restoration hopefully you know what restoration means because what you said is pretty dumb you dont put paint over rust
I know ALL about restoration. My first car was a 280 zx that needed a new fire wall and new floors as well as major body restoration. Took me a year to restore it and then some old lady ran a stop sign and T-Boned me drivers side. And now my current car is a 71 mustang coupe that I have been restoring for the past two and a half years and still needs more work. I'll be selling it soon in order to pay for a 260Z to use for an LS1 engine swap. Yes I know a littile bit about restoring old cars.
LOL! OVER WHELMINGLY Agreed. The only reason I drive the stang is it was the only thing local I could find that I could afford. I Would match rather still Have my old Z.
hahah, hell yeah! no i haven't been to the new store, i was wondering where it was at. How much HP does the Soarer have? and thats also a Righ Side drive huh?
Correct, thats us. Have you been to the new location on 1st Ave ? Im going to restore this one back to stock original. But I have a few other Zs and one needs a motor, so maybe Ill do a rb20 or 26 in that car. We still have the Soarer, thats still our FUN car :)
Beautiful Fairlady, i love everything about it!

@motorsport007 When you bought it for $2500, what problems did it have? What needed to be reworked?
