  • Why take a doll house if you can get a doll town :D

  • hah, I can see why some people would think this movie was freaky and unsettling or just out of date and forgotten, but when you take it for what it is, this movie rocks.

  • @yougetagoldstar thanks for the upload.

  • Ok this is a wierd fuckin question but, some guy is telling me this movie is about how stupid italians are.........is that true or is he just an idiot (like I am assuming he is)

  • Kuruku still scares the crap out of me. Especially at 11 at night.

...Yet, I oddly totally want a plush of him

  • The puppets only useful quality is that there mindless zombies in cuboid form, willing to follow the commands of their flute playing leader, the pied piper of the underworld.

  • Part of the traumatized child brigade here. Still loved the movie though. Wish I could make speeder bikes out of old logs, lol...

  • Yep, as everyone else is saying: Still just as creepy as when I was a kid. Never forgot this.

  • 2:36 OMG The Puppets Look Like Jelly Jiggler Off Of BoBoBo!!! Plus toby reminds me of geno!!!

  • this gave me the worst nightmares as a child! D8

  • 4:44

  • as if hiding would prevent kurukoo from finding them

first tedhno song with a flute. nice touch

  • as if hiding would prevent kurukoo from finding them

  • This movie would crrep me out when I was younger & I've never 4got this scene.

  • Wouldn't the humans be more useful as slaves? C'mon! Those aren't 'living puppets', they're useless cutouts that resemble the bad guys from Gumby. Was this an improv cartoon or what?

  • Oh gosh, this flute song. @_@ Its so pretty! I wish i had an mp3.

... if I keep posting this enough, maybe someone will take pity on me and magically send me one, lmao. I can dream.

  • @KyraWolf I tried to remake the flute song best i could, since ive always wanted an mp3 everybody you can get it off my channel with Youtube to mp3 firefox addon, or search in bar Toby's Flute Song Unico Island of Magic

  • Sherys parents is right, magic is usually monsterous. Anyways oh man this scene scares me alot when Kuruku went to Sherys house and turned them to living puppets and Toby have to finish the job. But I love the music though but a bit creepy its like that Toby is calling the living dead O_o

  • Reminds me of the Sailor Moon SuperS movie.

  • Toby's flute tune is beyond beautiful.

It alone is worth a soundtrack release.

  • Thanks for the post. You can't blame Sherry for being afraid of the toy.

  • Creepy flute music but cool at the same time

  • whats the music starting 4:45?

  • Okay, seriously, does ANYone else find this DISTURBING?!

  • @wfrancavilla why do you find it disturbing? o.o

  • lol, it's a bunch of Jelly Jigglers!

  • Toooobeeee!!! come out and plaaayy!

  • Well.... here we go.... I have waited literally 26 years to find out what the name of the movie with the "demon ball" that killed the girl's parents in their house was and scared me so bad as a kid. I thought I would die without ever knowing it. THANK YOU

  • Somehow i always remembered how the tune went when Toby plays the flute. Just embedded in my memory. Now its stuck in my head for another 20 plus years. :) I'm calling it the "Puppet's March." :)

  • *cries* lord what's-his-name still scares me =(

  • I remembered this thing, well sort of, from back when I was little. The marching scene always freaked me out.

  • The marching scene stuck in my head for years. I could never remember what this movie was called, much less see it again. Thanks for uploading, brings back a lot of memories.

Still can't believe my mom let me watch this (and Disney aired it!). It scared the crap out of me as a kid and it's still freaky now, LOL.

  • i want to learn that song! it's fantastic! any sheet music? anyone?

  • thank you so much for posting this...its been over 20 years since ive seen this

  • When i was a kid i dont know if i really understood what was going on..but man it's creepy now! lol

  • i wonder what unico would look like as a human

  • 1:25 xDDD

  • Thanks so much for posting. I've had memories of this movie but they were just random images and I haven't been able to find it until now!

  • Me too! It's so weird that this movie made such an impression on so many people. It gets under your skin when you see it at just the right age.

  • dang im 16 and this part of the movie is so creepy i think it will give me nightmares

  • I'm glad I didn't watch this as a little girl. This is really creepy.

  • i hope kuruko doesnt appear in my nightmares this time ='( lol

  • Anime is amazing

  • AAAHH, THIS is the part I remember that totally freaked me out and made me lock all my dolls in the garage!

  • I've been looking for this for 24 years. The scene where Toby protects Cherry has been in my head for a long time.

I could never find it anywhere. It was so frustrating. Thank heavens I know what it is now.

  • i know the feeling. i remember 2 scenes. one where unico transforms into an adult using it's magic horn then flying off. the other is when tobi stands up to the wizard master. everything else a blank, and i have been searching for this movie for years, though i could not remember the name of the movie.

  • This made me cry when I was a child.

  • Yaha! I found it! I haven't seen this since i was about 5 years old and could never find it again! My search spanning a quarter century is finally over!

  • wow, I was born in 79' and I vaguely remembered watching this. Im so glad i found it. Brings back loads of memorys of me cuddling up with my older brother to watch this. I remember Kuruku freaked me out. Stuff like this is why youtube is kickass.

  • Kuruku!!!! Yeah he rules!

  • Maybe the reason the family is freaking out over his magic is because of the way he is doing it. At least that's what it seems to me. And I still find it weird that Cherry is afraid of the doll acting as if it is going to bite her or something.

  • It wasn't the doll itself but his using magic to make it.

If I had magic like Toby I wouldn't do that just to learn more tricks.

  • Is the flute track original to the movie or is it a piece by someone else? I absolutely love it.

  • The flute track is in the original.

  • omg! I just realized I've hummed this song several times in more recent years, without realizing what it was! I thought is was just some random tune I was making up! lol ...amazing how movies can affect you when you're a child...

  • I remember being so weirded out by those living puppets...

  • OH MY GOD!! I haven't seen this for over 15 years. We use to watch this all of the time, and some of it was scary lol.

  • my and my brother love this song he was born 1981 and i was born in 1986

  • Kuruku freaks me out as much now as he did when I was six... 0_o

  • Same here.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song he plays to bring the puppets to the ship?

  • this gave me so many nightmares as a child. "nightmare island- I've heard a lot of bad things about that place" is a hilarious line though.

  • Jelly Jiggler of Bobobo may of been inspired by those living puppets. Cause that's all I could think of whenever I them.

  • I love the music but it is kind of traumatic.I watched this when I was a kid living in Cuba and it was kind of sad and scary shit.

  • You and me both cubanboy1981!!!

  • I think japanese composers must be the best

  • not all Japanese musicians are/were amazing but this one is def pretty damn good! :D

  • Nightmare Island- that must be next to the Hill of Oblivion...

  • what i would give to play that tune on a flute!!!

anyone know the name of the song?

  • I was so happy when I found this. This was one of my favorite movies when I was 6. I had a crush on Toby, I think. Anyway, I loved the flute scene! I would whistle it forever. ^-^ Unico Love

  • 1:24

    XD

    damn thats great

  • Geeze, what's wrong with his family, freaking out over the magic like that? Heh.

  • Magic has a good side and a bad side. Everyone knows that.

  • @k24601 My thoughts exactly. What is with these people? Of course, they probably would have found it more frightening anyways if they found out that A CRAZED PUPPET WITH A GRUDGE AGAINST MANKIND was behind it all.

Also, those puppets DO look like Jelly Jiggler...

  • kids would have freaked out watching this episode. must have messed many kids up.

  • Well, I think most of us who have left comments watched it as kids, and though it freaked us out, we turned out okay. :P

  • Those puppets are creepy :l

  • Can you believe they actually used to air this on the disney channel?

  • i remember watching this when i was a kid...i always loved how dramatic it was!

  • I LOVED this movie growing up...my favorite character was always Toby.

  • Damn you Toby! How dare you give us wonderful new things!!!

  • It used to freak me out how not even the children were spared from being turned into puppets! (BTW, frame 1:24 hehehe!)

  • Oh man, I've always wanted to get that song...It's so pretty and the scene is so creepy!

  • I positively LOVED this when I was little. I still do. But I never realized how truly CREEPY this scene was until I watched it just last night. The way the scene is played out, combined with the sound of the music and the marching puppets...VERY creepy!!

I LOVE YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!!!! EVERYBODY NEEDS TO RALLY FOR THIS TO BE ON DVD!!!!

  • why does this still creep me out....must...turn....awayyyy!!!!

  • This part was the scariest part (nxt to the part where they look in the Trojan horses' eye) ..Living Puppets..*shudder* ...Toby scared me too ...but for some strange reason I remember thinking he was cute as well.

  • Brrrrrrr....Koruku...

  • Oh, poor Toby! He just wanted his family to welcome him back. :( Darn Puritans!

  • Koruku used to scare the piss out of me when I was a little girl - it's been really funny to watch this and see that the thing that scared me was a big eyed round ball :P although, admitedly, it still is CREEPY how he calls 'Tobeeeeeeee, Tobeeeeeeeeeee!'

    lmao, thanks for loading these!

  • My little brother and I had nightmares for MONTHS when we were little, thinking our parents were going to turn into "living puppets."

  • ee! i wish i'd seen this when i was real little. i would liked it even more.
