Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee - The Boardroom's alarm glitching strangely

i used the invincibility cheat in the sequel on the PSP version of the game when i was at the end of it, and somehow managed to freeze it to the point of the system shutting down. oops, forgot to mention, the cheat was used when the gas came down. was it a true freeze glitch or just the result of cheating the game?
