There's a vast difference between playing loud, powerful drums and technically mind-blowing, funky drumming; with different but acceptable results. It's like saying Flea playing bass for Chili Peppers is a waste of his talent because he can play Trumpet in a more traditional, non-evolved form of funk.

Sometimes you wanna fuck around like this. I'm not as good as KJ Swaka, but the feeling's the same. They're different sounds. Technically, jungle drumming is superior. But drums are not only comparable by that attribute.

This is only the beginning of what this guy does on stage. I saw AriSawkadoria a few years back in Seattle and he was playing amazing accoustic drums along with electric pads to provide ambient sounds over top followed by hitting keys on his Apple MacBook pro to give a 3rd layerof sound. Talk about talented and a big time multi-tasker.

So okay.. DnB: real original classic DnB, The Amon break. That's what is DnB. Right? Also its in a 170 - 180 BPM rythm usualy. Lets see.. Pendulum? to be dead honest with you.. its not "real" DnB. Why? most of the songs on Immersion, Basic 8ths (16ths and some.. tripplets shit and jeez knows what he plays that we dont hear) on hihat, 4ths on snare (some ghost notes here and there) and some simple stuff on bass.

D'n'B is based on Linear rythms,
