gotchya, but it's a whole different realm compared to snowboarding and skiing. the use of your hands are key, so it's almost necessary to use them on rail. not always, but you'll understand if you give it a try.

Thanks man. But the landings arn't nearly as bad as you think. There is padding in the sled, so aslong as there is a sloped return with a good amount of snow, it's fine. My brother snowboards, skateboards, and sleds...his knees are fine.

it only hurts when you have an icy landing or a flat return. the pads in the sled absorb the rest, but the landing plays a crucial rule as well.
