  • Truly Grand, Thank you much for sharing your experience with us. I love watching these things, but have never seen one from the rider's perspective!

    Cheers

  • hey! super vid! 5/5 really steep hills, very tough very nice riding! what bike?

  • @KristofSX should be a WR250F/450F

  • very good video.

i would give more than 5 stars

  • Hallo Adriaan,

Prachtige beelden! De steilste klimmen nemen in de Algarve hebben je geen windeieren gelegd!

Ben van plan om nog eens bij je terug te komen en de Husa's te testen!

    Groeten,

    Jan

  • Excellent video man: thank you for showing us mere mortals what such hills are like: more please.

  • Aaah, more will come but I have to wait one year.....

    Thanks for your kind comment,

Btw; I felt very mortal and humble on that hill :-)

  • ahum, should reading more carefull. this is about the bathtub... In the video u can see that someone already grabbed my bike!!! (unbelievely fast) later someone else threw me a rope.

You can also see that I couldn't even crawl up that hill....I kept on sliding back.

I guess the camera stopped by accident as I can't remeber stopping filming. I was too busy not to slide further down...

  • Difference with a lot of other riders was that I ddidn't wait at every new hill. you've got 2 have a certain momentum and try to keep it. arriving at the big que on the bottom 3rd rocket-ride-hill, I was happy to catch my breath, I took my time (had no other choice too) , choose my line and waited for the right moment. On the last up-hill I didn't made it all the way and decided to wait for a rope as i was so near to the top.

Those hills are mean but not as mean as a lot of other sections...

  • how did you manage to get out of there, did they pull you up, or you went down and up again. it looks mean...

  • to polen64. I know enduro is popular in Portugal. Only the f*****g estrangeiros complain about bikes! The nerves they have.

enjoying nature and speed on a dirtbike is a bloody right just as walking in nature is.

to Mother nature there's not much difference between the two. it's the other humans who don't like our sport (and noise)

Aghh, I can get so angry about this...

  • Not that I'm aware of. Was there not long ago. But the new dam is nearing completion and it might be more difficult to get there in the future.

Just today I found some climbs of "Erzberg" proportions ;-))

  • Jeez - what a hill! I heard they closed off that huge hill (I think you called it the highway) in the Algarve. Have you found any other tough ones?

  • ehh, well, no. We live and work in Portugal. My team mate Merlin speaks portuguese fluently as he was raised here.

    I'm originally from Holland.

  • good video! :D in portugal enduro is very famous, most the people liked! :D

  • es portugues?

  • I used a 450.

  • uau Good Job! Thanks!

    Husaberg 450 or 570?

  • Another great video. Thanks for sharing!!!
