Someone should invent an elbow type arm that attaches to the bed, with a remote control to change the page. Haha, how lazy can I get? But I'd buy it too.
Seeing it actually used like this is much more informative than the commercial reviews. Thank you. I definitely wouldn't enjoy using that device. I don't like the idea of having a cellphone signal in my lap for hours a day, nor having all my reading info handed over. I'd expect the flashing between pages to enhance memory, but reduce creativity. It's why they put it in TV shows and ads. Prick the brain with adrenaline and reduce critical thinking skills. So glad I didn't buy one of these now.
Thanks for the video. This was EXTREMELY helpful. I couldn't find my instructions and this Kindle certainly isn't an intuitive device. I couldn't even find out how to select a book to even go to the next page prior to your instructional video. Again, thanks a mil!
Honestly, who holds their small books with both hands on the sides like that? Most people hold paperbacks with one hand towards the bottom center, where the buttons wouldn't be a problem. I don't see what the big deal is.
I'm very satisfied with it. The flash bothered me initially, but not it doesn't. The only drawback are the locations of the buttons that accidentally get hit.
The good thing is that you can adjust the size of the fonts to get more on the page.
Ok, so do you recommend buying the Kindle right now? I'm a big reader and I was looking forward to getting it but it looks like if you're a fast reader it would interrupt you alot to have the screen flash all over every time you turn such a tiny page...
what color is the lettering

The Kindle looks cool, but honestly, you don't need to talk to us like we are 5 year olds.

I found the older folks are less techy. So yeah they need to be taught like a 5 year old.
