Pointless discussion. Iron Maiden released The number of the beast in 1982, and Metallica was struggling for a new sound to reinvent themselves 2nd half of the 90's. So any similarity between the 2 bands is due to copycat behavior of Metallica. Metallica haven't released any descent album since the black album. But that's my opinion. But in the 80's slayer, megadeth, Iron Maiden and Metallica were GOD!! UP THE IRONS!
