It's unconstitutional BECAUSE it's not in the constitution. Learn the concept of enumerated powers. The constitution was designed to be a limit to centralized federal power, not a base from which to expand. A costitutional ammendment (remember those?) would be needed before universal health care could be offered. Individual rights and State's rights were not to be infringed EXCEPT where specifically stated in the Constitution (as powers of the Federal Gov). We have strayed very far from it.
