Guild Wars: Ranger UW solo farm

I love how this build was decent, not too efficient and got nerfed in record time compared so shadow form getting over a year before they failed nerfing it.

well, it was really the only way rangers could solo farm without a partner... :d Haven't played guild wars in months...not sure how its like now.

@JorgenShadow They nerfed the spirits so it won't work anymore, however, you can still duo-trap with another ranger if you're real good. They updated the enemy AI in UW to flee from traps faster so its hard to do. Another method is to bring a rit and trap under their spirits they spam. Works like a charm. I did half the UW that way.

lulz. I have this build for my ranger.

But I phail hardcore at trapping. D:

I go in thinking 'yeah I'll come out with more than I lost going in with' .... Not the case. xP I don't think I've got past the first group of aatxes yet. xD Practice practice practice.... but that's expensive. xP

check this out :p I was a total noob when trying this build out... I didn't know ecto's were expensive O.o ! I had 5 in my inventory not even knowing i had about 46 K with me... I managed to kill a few groups in like my 3rd try. Keep trying...its worth it, good luck man.

yeah its not worth the effort when they don't drop anything...study some more about UW and find out what are Glob's of Ectoplasm... worth about 8-8,5 K amongst other players... it depends on ure luck...sometimes you can get many sometimes none.

Quickening Zephyzer reduces the Recharge, you need it to cast enough dust traps in a time of 80 sec's

Nature Renewal Lets the QZ dont take any Energy and + energy it doesn't make any difference

I never tried this before but from what I read from the guildwiki your suppose to put the traps and spirit nearer the wall cause you gave them space that made the move so you didn't kill them fully

Indeed... ^^ put every player has his own style... I don't have a problem adding one trap to finish them off... :] Besides...while yo use this build there is still time to set one dust trap before you put the second barbed trap on. That kills the fully.

Like you say everyone has their own style, personally i don't trap around the back of the steps and do it on them instead. i prefer the option of an easy escape to the ghost if you get a stray instead of being boxed in, which happens alot. Guildwiki guides are written by Joe Bloggs you don't have to follow them if it doesn't suit you :P

At least ! A comment :D. The trick is to put the traps in some place where the beast will get stuck when running...then they will take all the damage from the dust traps...
