  • What a relief that they're NOT "slimmer" like "real dancers." The "real dancer" aesthetic is based on borderline if not outright anorexia. These are whole healthy women with feminine curves in all the normal healthy places, in good enough shape to move while producing a bel canto sound. Wow. An inspiration.

  • ichdenk... is unrealistic - this is not a definitive performance, but I think the ideas they are exploring are worthwhile. For me it is more about the gestures; the singers are already singing well, they have to act, move; don't expect them to be 'professional dancers' (as many professional dancers can't sing like this), but enjoy the presence of gesture and movement where before there was either nothing (bel canto) or there were hammed-up cliches (modern interpretations of opera seria).

  • the singing is very good. But the dancers can't move fast; there are no lines and their feet aren't pointed. Also, professional dancers need to be a lot slimmer. Perhaps it's something that can be improved.
