shit.... they should make capoeira an olympic sport. This is tons more entertaining than gymnastics or... tae kwon do... this is probably the only sport that judges can score based on flow, style and technicalities and i'm pretty sure you can have a nonstop point sparring match over a 2 min period. Didn't they invented electronic head and vest scoring pads? i could soo totally i see that happening
This is true Senzala, one of their own, Mestre Zumbi, was at my batizado and he moved just like this, its almost superhuman and if he was to have to fight, he would be unstoppable... I don't care how good you are in BJJ...AXE!!!
Gotta say... wasn't impressed by Mestre Zumbi at all.... maybe he used to be better but his style is almost as bad as Formado Caxias of Grupo Capoeira Brasil (Caxias goes by Mestre Caxias but he isn't really a Mestre yet...). This guy is amazing though.
@mxaa LOL I would not judge someones skill purely through whats posted on Youtube. Caxias is a Mestre and you don't get to call yourself a Mestre or even take a test you are made by the other Mestres so unless you are a Mestre yourself you should not be making this statement. Also I have seen Zumbi in person, he is like a lightening bolt and lots of blood got spilt that day in our "dance".....

Not to be picky but if you take a closer look it's actually not an Aú sem mao. not sure of the name but it's basically an aú de frente sem mao. No handed front walkover. But it might actually be called Reversao sem mao.... not sure.
