It is faked. I knew someone in the stands when they did this. They hoisted her up on a pulley to provide the jump effort. The ball was cut in by effects. She was also already carrying a ball that she tossed to the fielder after she "made the catch". But very well done. I have to say.

First of all the catcher is NOT changing hands dumbass, if you look(do you play B-Ball?) there is an opening in every mitt over the back of your wrist, I've been a cathcer before and I've held my glove this way in my right hand, you can see the logo fer chrissakes. Awesome video. As a rockclimber, we make jumps like that all the time. As long as you can get your foot stable enough on a hold to push off, you can jump pretty well from any spot. I would agree it's impossible to do a straight vertical jump that high, but if you bend your legs and get a good push of the wall you can run up it. Happens a lot in sport climbing to climb between two faces or make a grab for a hold out of reach.
