it's not easy to use, when you actually aim and get a headshot, then not have to beatdown. it's actually harder to pull off a clutch no scope than to just zoom in and stay in scope for 3 minutes before you finally line someone up

well if you don't like waiting zoomed in for 3 minutes (which is what sniping basically is) don't use the sniper. It's frustrating for other players when people use the sniper close up, especially as it beats weapons such as the assualt rifle which is supposedly designed for close combat. Bad game design there, they should have removed crosshair when scoped out or added bloom like in Reach I think.

You're entitled to your opinion, I'm not saying you are wrong, I just think the AR really takes no skill, especially if you are up close, where the sniper actually does, so if you have skill with the sniper, and use it to no scope someone who rushes you with the AR, then it's twice as bad for the guy who had an AR, cuz he had a weapon that required no skill, vs. a weapon that is hard to use up close

hmm, ok. I guess its only fair I say you're entitled to your opinion too, I just found no-scoping too easy. If they'd made it harder to do it would a) encourage people to use it at long range as it is meant to be and b) make no-scoping close up more skillful.
