Pimp stuff! But just for my personal info... when making a radio video for youtube, is there a way to mic the sound of your radio so that the sound is high quality for youtube?
Anyways, cool stuff, ive recently got hooked on HAM and i plan to get my license eventually. There's alot of cool stuff you can do with a radio XD
Great looking rig. I am debating between buying the Icom 746 pro and the Kenwood TS-2000. They are both great rigs, but being a newer ham I can only judge them from what I read. Can anyone give their opinions on which radio they think is the better and more reliable of the two rigs? Thanks.
I found your video very well done. Just passed the general class last year and wanted to learn about the TS-2000. Ham radio provides many great folks a way to interact. 73's KE7JZT
fireicer. HI. Thank you for your comment. I use for 160-10 metres a 3/4 wave (60metres long), up 40 feet , END FED on 160 metres which also covers all bands up to 10 metres. For VHF & UHF I use a commercial colinear about 8ft long vertically , up 22 feet.
thats an amazing setup you have there, can i ask what antenna setup are you using? eg dipole yagi etc. I have to ask as you have an amazing coverage of the bands right at your set with minimal tuning
JamesJB32. The Tsvr covers 160- 10metres HF, 6Metres, 2Metres, 70 CM and will cover 23CM IF you specify when you place order. BRUNOTHIESEN2008. The TS2000 has DSP in only RX mode. Thank you.
Nice radio, wish i could afford it grr lol. just a few months of saving ill have it :)
This radio can do 2m/440/6m/222/10m correct? I ask cause i just got Technician Class and looking for a HF Radio so when i decide to study for General and pass the test ill have a HF Radio already.
Thanks for your comment Turnermedman. I have had a look at some of your videos. The new SONY looks nice! Enjoy your listening . I am 75 yrs old and only got my ticket in 2000. You could do the same? 73

I would like to ask you if TS-2000 has DSP in TX mode too, or only in RX? Thank you for your reply, and sorry for my poor english, OK?
