  • Pimp stuff! But just for my personal info... when making a radio video for youtube, is there a way to mic the sound of your radio so that the sound is high quality for youtube?

Anyways, cool stuff, ive recently got hooked on HAM and i plan to get my license eventually. There's alot of cool stuff you can do with a radio XD

  • Well done..

  • juncon81. HI. Wish you well making your "comeback". I hope that it gives you great pleasure.

  • Great looking rig. I am debating between buying the Icom 746 pro and the Kenwood TS-2000. They are both great rigs, but being a newer ham I can only judge them from what I read. Can anyone give their opinions on which radio they think is the better and more reliable of the two rigs? Thanks.

  • Nicely done sir! 73...

  • Thank you very much sir. The video was done with a CANON MVX1S Camcorder. 73 om.

  • I found your video very well done. Just passed the general class last year and wanted to learn about the TS-2000. Ham radio provides many great folks a way to interact. 73's KE7JZT

  • ate508. As I said in my email to you- Congrats on passing the exam over there. Enjoy yr radio for many years to come. 73 OM.

  • fireicer. HI. Thank you for your comment. I use for 160-10 metres a 3/4 wave (60metres long), up 40 feet , END FED on 160 metres which also covers all bands up to 10 metres. For VHF & UHF I use a commercial colinear about 8ft long vertically , up 22 feet.

  • thats an amazing setup you have there, can i ask what antenna setup are you using? eg dipole yagi etc. I have to ask as you have an amazing coverage of the bands right at your set with minimal tuning

  • Congratulations for the nice video, and your informations...

I would like to ask you if TS-2000 has DSP in TX mode too, or only in RX? Thank you for your reply, and sorry for my poor english, OK?

    All the best...

  • JamesJB32. The Tsvr covers 160- 10metres HF, 6Metres, 2Metres, 70 CM and will cover 23CM IF you specify when you place order. BRUNOTHIESEN2008. The TS2000 has DSP in only RX mode. Thank you.
