in 1952 it was flying over washington dc in multiple formations in shape of a pyramid. It lasted for 8 hours. Sirens were blaring and jets were sent out to chase after the ufos. Checks out aceBryan7ox on youtube. his home page shows GIF image of this event

i'm in dc. i remember when this happened jus a few years ago. it is soon forgoten. my dad would tell me about the 1952 sightings in dc. he saw it along with thousands of others. i'm not saying what "they" are except that i belive we don't know what it is, our government doesn't know what it is but for some reason they want to keep it secret. i think that whatever it is terrifies them and our government can not show that it is powerless in the face of something it has no control over.

Yep, that's what I believe as well. The government knows the phenomen is real, but that's about it. So the cover-up is to prevent people from realizing that they don't know much and are powerless. Let's face it folks, if UFOs are extraterrestrial then they are supperior to us. This means they can do whatever they want and we can't do anything to stop them.
