I like the Taiwanese version because its closer to the original Japanese manga which is kind of ironic though there are still things in the taiwanese version that are different, but the Japanese version has a different feel to it.

I vote HanaKimi TW, because it followed the manga so much better. There was more of Sano's thoughts in it too, and he had ACTUAL FEELINGS. D: But the ending was blah and none of Sano's family conflicts got resolved. There were some points that were better in each, but I still go for HK TW.

sorry guys... dont flame me=S just my honest opinions... but let me say this, the dubbing of HKJPN sucked in GMA7 tahts why people dont like it but it's really good, dive it a chance, watch it online, Nakatsu's really funny and animated and not to mention hot... (note wu zun is hotter than oguri shun)i watch HKT solely coz of him=b cant get enough of him... i wish Taiwan could give justice to him, he's always been paired with girls that are not on his league... ive watched both n truth is, both are good but i prefer JPN. the characters are more alive and they have spice (ex the dorm head in Taiwan looks more lyk a gay than a womanizer compared 2 the dorm hd in japan, and the ghost boy in taiwan lookd more like a retard than a spirit boy, jpn characters performed better in my opinion)plus the lead char is not exaggerated. although i like wu zun a lot... i think he's the only reason why people watch HKTaiwan.. hehe=b i cant stop watchin HKT coz of him

Hana kimi japan version, in my opinion, is better. Not that i haven't watched the korean yet but at Wikipedia Hana kimi japan won awards.

The korean version though focuses more on the drama. The japanese version rather diminishes the whole drama and an addition of comedy which makes it fun to watch. :)
