Beasty is good, but from what I've seeing here, he copies WAY too much to be French Champion.. In this video he is biting directly from 5 beatboxers. Eklipse- Break Ya neck, Kenny's hi hat beat for Wind, Alem's wob wob beat, Zede's tktk beat, Lianhart- murda she wrote. I've been following beatbox for 7 years so i know what i'm talking about. From what I remember he bit off Zede in the French champs 09 as well... i think that's unacceptable
@sungbeats i saw beasty at the 2010 french champs, he totaly deserved to win, i also saw him beatbox a few days ago, and he is completely original, with his own stuff. The only reason he does these beats is to get the crowed going. You can't even imagine how many people copy him.
You will see for yourself at the next world championships.
@sungbeats in this vid he also copies Kenny Muhammad's routine that starts with the inward clickrolls. and @husklad79 I can understand copying covers, because they obviously get the crowd going, but copying beats without giving credit to the original beatboxer is kind of wrong in my opinion. He should at least have given credit. But at the French Champs he was clearly quite original, no doubt.
@BigBenBeatbox Thank you, but I already know that the wind technique is also a cover of a song. the question I am raising is that Beasty uses an original beat from Kenny Muhammad (that start with the inward clickrolls). No disrespect or offence intended for Beasty, I'm just curious if that's okay.
If all beat boxing should be 'totally origional' w/o taking sound bytes and patterns from other established beat boxers... then music as a genre should follow suit. Too bad that would put about 90% of contemporary musicians out of business since the roots are strongly based in classical genres. So... sorry, but, it takes a hell of a lot of skill to copy Razhel and others. Just because they're copyin' doesn't make em bad. This guy has clean n tight beats. His timing and crowd interaction is sick!
i like the kenny muhammed twist
