Its admirable that ur tryin to enlighten people but unfortunately the Quran isnt always bein interpreted by a nice guy like urself. Islam is often used to oppress women ie. sharia law says that a women must have 4 male witnesses if she has been raped . Furthermore, ur reasoning on needing the testimony of 2 females to 1 male is that the woman wouldve been at "home" and "at the time this is what they did" - well yeah but we're now in the 21st century and this "reasoning" is still being used.
@katykaratekat By no means am I trying to defend anyone who uses these ideals to hurt anyone in anyway- the goal of me posting this video is so that I can refute the ideas of a user who I posted this video as a video response to (although he hasn't accepted the thing, probably due to him not wanting me to present valid counterarguments) who believes that the Qur'an preaches hate.
@tehinCOREuptable I'm afraid I have to disagree with u, there are many verses in th Quran (example - gays and non believers should be murdered, which is clearly written for all to see!) that directly incite violence and preach hatred, as, to be fair, there are with other religious texts, the difference is that other religions have adapted their meanings to meet modern day values, something which Islam refuses to do, unfortunately for a vast number of muslims the Quran is to be taken literally.

Of course you'd call for the people attacking you to be murdered. As well; Muslims HAVE "adapted their meanings to meet modern day values". I doubt where you'd see otherwise. You see radicals as Muslims, I do not. Radicals refuse to be modern. There is nothing wrong with the Qur'an of true Muslims
wow, well i must say for someone who isnt muslim you have made a very just and fair analysis on women in islam. I am a muslim woman and islam is completely equitable between the sexes. Unfortunately though there are a lot of misogynistic men out there in the religion who try and change things to suit their own means, but I guess thats not just specific to islam.
@aminak48 It really sucks that anyone uses religion to spread violence. I guess it's just one of those things- If someone says, "This means to do x and God has commanded it" then a lot of people will just accept it. It truly is unfortunate

As well, *your interpretation* of Islam teaches that women are less than men. If women truly taught misogyny, then all Muslims would be sexist, would they not? Since not all Muslims are (indeed, most are not), I would argue that anyone who believe Islam is anti-women is either unable to read or listen to the Qur'an.

Do you believe that you have more knowledge of Islam than those who have studied it their entire lives? That would be like me, someone going into school for Mathematics and Physics in two years, to say "NOPE. Richard Feynman, Carl Sagan, Einstein, and Newton had it ALL WRONG. I know better than them"
