  • @aerogrl2844 no its heavy

  • Put some screws in them holes XD

  • what the hell lexan is $212 for 15ft

  • @sugarbushski it depends on the thickness

  • how thich should the lexan be

  • lexan is a lot more then $60

  • this helped alot thanks!

  • Does it need coping?

  • can you cut lexan with a motor powered saw

  • y did u put to pipes on the side?

  • @ThePittfan7 its coping its to make a rounded edge to the plastic, if you don't have it the plastic won't be protected

  • @buckwildproductions1 ok thank u

  • song naem?

  • why didnt you said the instructions on the glue box

  • Song?

  • What is the point of the coping. why don't you just put the plastic on?

  • @bsaxton11 it makes a rounded edge to protect the plastic and your board

  • Get buckboard from a plastic shop, ( I think its what they use in hockey boards)

Works like a charm, and relatively cheap (60 is for 2x4 sheet)

  • is this sturdy?

  • Great Video!!!!!

  • where did you get the plastic the fit the box exactly

  • haha nice vid man

  • do u got 2 holiday valley i do im in Ohio

  • good vid

  • How do u make the gap for coping? And btw do u wax the top of it or put snow on it?

(I'm new to snowboarding) plz respond

  • what song is this????

  • @peanutboy2009 Time to pretend by mgmt.

  • where did you get the pipes at?

  • hahahah fail coping

  • could i wood glue the lexan on?

  • how big is your drop in i built one ten feet high and i don't know if i can make a box for it

  • Where do you get hdpe?

  • whats a good thickness for the sheets how much would a 8' by 2' wide be

  • Alright so next time I'm in buffalo I will grab some, it's 1/2 inch diameter ten ft long tubes for 10$ right

  • @1995brendan1995 yea i believe so

  • Hey man. Are you from the states, cause i think here in canada, steel is much more expensive then 10$ for 10ft? If you could reply that would be awesome cause i need to rebuild my 2 boxes this summer :)

  • @1995brendan1995 yea im in NY. but theyre thin hollow tubes you may not be looking at the right stuff

  • @buckwildproductions1 hey im in ny too thats coool

  • @1995brendan1995 i get steel in canada for cheaper than 10$ per tn foot i get it for like 6$

  • @THEJBUDS Hey man was it super thin and did it hold up. and what store?

  • Thanks man! i dint know how to do this and this can be a project for me!

  • next make video how to build that big thing on u backyard where u start that :D

  • looks nice. i love your drop in. iam in the process of making mine its almost like urs but its only 8 feet tall how tall is your drop in?

  • @ExciteModz mines 10 feet. 8 feet is good 10 was a little tall, especially for spins on rails and stuff we go a little too fast

  • @buckwildproductions1 ok thanks so much

  • Where can i buy plastic???

  • @skjelvene home depot they have 4x5 sheets for like 50$ cut it in half and your good to go

  • this is the gay version of time to pretend

  • way better than my bow

  • poor defenseless snowman...

  • sweet broski

  • thats fuckin dope

  • What are the deminsions of your starting ramp? Like how tall is it and how long is your ramp?

  • awsome tutorial man. many thanks

  • i want to make one thanks for the instruction

  • I used pvc lasttyearr and it works, but its not as good as metal. Its alot easierr and you slide alot slower.

  • polyurethane tyler, lol

  • also how tall is your box? and what size coping did you use?

  • do the plywood sheets on the side of the box keep it from swaying back and forth when you ride on it?

  • when u screw the plexiglass down dont do it to hard or it cracks. and liquid nails wont hold the plexiglass on cuz its not ment for that type of plastic.

  • how mutch is the plastic cost ?

  • what's the width 2ft?

  • how do you secure the coping to the box?

  • @beamightyhunter lipuid nails

  • LOVE THE SONG!!

  • sick. looks like a pro job. gay questions though come on people! how to build a drop in? just find some fucking 2x4s and put plywood on top!

  • how think is that lexan?

  • Could u post a video on how to make your big ramp in the video

  • Idk PVC might break or just catch your edges. I would just go for the metal it's fairly inexpensive

  • @buckwildproductions1 pvc works, i have 2 rails made out of it, a shotgun and a single, and they held up for last winter just fine

  • @buckwildproductions1 i made a box and didnt even use pvc or metal just left it and it works fine

  • pvc would work for the coping true?

  • @merkymonster Your edges MIGHT catch

  • Grtzzz i want do that

  • where can u get hdpe or any plastic for the top of boxes

  • hey wut if i cant find anything thick enof to countersink the screws into? can i like use some kind of ultra adhesive? maybe liquid nails?

  • idk try it

  • idk try it

  • @vdl1996 no dont use liquid nails. it wont stick.

  • @crazy4tiger Alright, I decided Ima do a rail anyway. So much less supplies and I don't need hdpe or anything like that

  • how much does the sheet of plywood cost

    and does pvc work

btw how much did the particle board cost too

  • how thick is the lexan coment back

  • idk no more than 1/4 inch

  • sik set up

  • nice, looks sick. u should like put pictures under the plastic cz its see through lol. have like a design on the box.

  • i just got a long rectangle peice of plastic withs sides that i use for a box its prolly 2 feet high and 9 inches wide but its perfect cause i spent like 3 dollars on it and you never cut your edge into it

  • whered u get the plastic??plz respond

  • google it. the only way you will find out is finding someone who has used it or trying it yourself

  • where do u get the rails?

  • read description

  • how tall is your drop in?

  • song

  • "time to pretend" by MGMT

  • Wat is coping? Is it just putting the rails on the side of it to make sure you dnt scratch up ur ski bottoms?

  • yes

  • does it slide well and nice vid :)

  • yea it slides good

  • how good is plex is it expensive

    ware dou get it

  • read description

  • can u do video on drop in?

  • Is the box sturdy?

  • yea. just have enough supports and do the job right

  • Me and my friends made a 22ft box, from youre design. Thanks man.

  • How wide is your box?

  • not positive but somewhere around 1 1/2 feet. its personal preference

  • Comment removed

  • Do you need the coping on the side ?

  • yes unless you use another type of plastic. and dont ask me which type cause im not naming all of them

  • if i use HDPE will i need coping?

  • im not sure. ik hdpe is stronger so it might not be as neccesary. the coping is tricky to get set up right but i think its worth it

  • would plexi glass work?

  • Not to well. It cracks to easily.

  • or maybe ice on a plank lol...=D

  • song

  • time to pretend mgmt

  • thanks

  • Really good video man thanks you helped me build my box and i made it 15 feet lol

  • whats the song in this video? Thanks

  • How thick is your lexan? I can't find any like 1/2" thick stuff in my budget so I'm thinking about liquid nailing it on, would that work? If not... time to save =/ But then it's like $120 but huge so I could make it like 20ft long, that would be sweet :D

  • you dusted that snowman

  • make a vid how to make that drop in ramp :P

  • no figure it out

  • i hate it when ppl ask the stupid questions its like figure it out yourself

  • Oh my that's pretty sick!!!!

  • hahahaha nice snoman. so random lolo

  • yea the snow was shitty so i didnt feel like riding

  • hey where u liv? we should go snowboardng

  • ok?

  • the cheapest solution is linoleum flooring. it works great and it can be dirt cheep. just try to get a smooth design. that's what i am using on my box and its great.

  • any type of linoleum, like the design on the top doesnt matter, i have a bunch in my garage and its supposed to be like tile ...

  • basicly yes... i used some individual squares for a couple spots, but mainly used a flexible fiberglass panel (comes in 4 X 8 sheets)

  • They crack I think...

  • no one said you couldnt

  • 5/5 but u should use the filler they use to fill the fuck ups in your snowboard to fill the holes where the screws are not the glue. It makes it more slippery.

  • sweeett 5/5!!

  • thanks

  • i have lexan on my box.. that stuff is super sturdy! you dont even need rails on the side, it doesnt dig in at all.... if u dont wanna use that much money on lexan go for HDPE. its what they use at the ski resorts.... and thickness? quarter inch... that will last for a long time.

  • hey did that plastic work

  • only used it a few times last winter but it worked from what i could tell

  • how thick is the lexan you used. Also do reccommend lexan or should i use something else

  • maybe 1/4 1/2 inch i dont remember. and it works alright. what you use depends on your price range just look around

  • how high is your drop in?

  • 10 feet

  • To make your box even cooler you could spray paint a design underneath the plastic. I plan to do that with templates or something along the lines of that.

  • this song is on sw snowboarding

  • my drop in ramp is 7' high, 13' long do you think thats good enough speed to hit 5' jump

  • idk maybe. 5 feet high or long

  • Hey where did you buy the coping cuz i am making a box and a shotgun rail so i need to no!!

  • home depot

  • Ask your local home hardware, Rona whatever. Most of them have hdpe High Density Poly Ethelene

  • could i use fiberglass

  • i dont know. it could be too brittle in the cold

  • @twintipper123 it'll break

  • call an arena near u like ur high schools arena and ask them wer they got theirs and get the # then call them i got hdpe like that

  • smooth man!!

  • how did the plastic work on the box? i might use that...

  • i only got to use it a few ties cause the snow melted. but it worked good

  • me and my friend are trying to make a box. we have making it down but what excactly do u put on top to make you slide.

  • i used pvc sheets for the top, but i dont know where the hell you would get them, my dads friend just had them

  • YOU, So you ride a GT, You want to go faster??? Well i got a little tip for you.

All you need is wax! not from a candle the liquid wax, it makes you go faster and get faster tricks!

  • aha thank you help'd me alot

  • if i use trex, do i need to wax it?

  • idk. i dont even know what it really is i just have heard of it

  • thanks a ton ive been trying to find a cheaper way to make one and now i found one. i just got one question and it prob rilly dumb but what do u mean by coping? great song by the way. did u get it from shawn whites game?

  • coping is the metal on the sides the protects your board from nicking the corners of the plastic. and i just knew about mgmt

  • screw the box! i want your drop in ramp hah. jk the box is sick.

  • how did you build your downhill?
