Hey man. Are you from the states, cause i think here in canada, steel is much more expensive then 10$ for 10ft? If you could reply that would be awesome cause i need to rebuild my 2 boxes this summer :)
when u screw the plexiglass down dont do it to hard or it cracks. and liquid nails wont hold the plexiglass on cuz its not ment for that type of plastic.
i just got a long rectangle peice of plastic withs sides that i use for a box its prolly 2 feet high and 9 inches wide but its perfect cause i spent like 3 dollars on it and you never cut your edge into it
How thick is your lexan? I can't find any like 1/2" thick stuff in my budget so I'm thinking about liquid nailing it on, would that work? If not... time to save =/ But then it's like $120 but huge so I could make it like 20ft long, that would be sweet :D
the cheapest solution is linoleum flooring. it works great and it can be dirt cheep. just try to get a smooth design. that's what i am using on my box and its great.
5/5 but u should use the filler they use to fill the fuck ups in your snowboard to fill the holes where the screws are not the glue. It makes it more slippery.
i have lexan on my box.. that stuff is super sturdy! you dont even need rails on the side, it doesnt dig in at all.... if u dont wanna use that much money on lexan go for HDPE. its what they use at the ski resorts.... and thickness? quarter inch... that will last for a long time.
To make your box even cooler you could spray paint a design underneath the plastic. I plan to do that with templates or something along the lines of that.
thanks a ton ive been trying to find a cheaper way to make one and now i found one. i just got one question and it prob rilly dumb but what do u mean by coping? great song by the way. did u get it from shawn whites game?
Did you get your lexan from homedepot and
