Look I'm open to criticism, but come back when you grown up a bit yes? Mazes still contain challenges also. You could call it a Labyrinth if you want... And there are enough goddamn gmod vids of crappily put together mazes people made in gmod in about 30 minutes then recorded.

This required work, patience, and is nice to use. Just having the conventional maze in garrysmod is boring to hell...

Yes it did :) cause it was recorded using FRAPS which lowers frame rates badly. Now I use WeGame :)

i use source recorder.. its built into every source game! i love it cos you can later "smooth" the recording out and get a different view when if you record from something like fraps you can only get a view from what you were recording at the time, but with source recorder you could set up a cam outside and watch yourself go through the maze

Hmmm ill look into it then :). But I mainly use "independant" recorders, because you can record many different types of games, and also choose settings such as output file format, wanted FPS etc. And also wegame allows for instant uploading :)

Hmm, well there isnt really much to teach, all of my work is trial and error and thats part of the reason i love garrysmod its rewarding when you have it working, So if you want a tutorial for this then it would take a while and about 10+ videos lol. I would recommend just trying out some simple wire actions and then have a little go at a wire maze. If you need help on wire add me on steam. Legion256

Lol as explained bellow (people im begging you please read previous comments now before asking) Gmod 11 is not official, it is called that because Gmod 10 has been undergoing a big update (revisions and a replacement of physics engine to the Orange box engine). If you have a copy of Gmod 10 and you keep it up to date, then it would of undergone those updates. So it is unnoficially called (you dont have to call it this at all) Gmod 11.

Lol well to put it simply. For Half life 2,they had created a physics engine (that means it simulates objects realistically), and that has been exploited to be used as a game where now you can use the physics engine to build anything you want.You are completely free of most boundaries,and with additional user created mods for Gmod,you arnt stuck to using the original HL2 props, as well as have the ability to download more tools to use, e.g bouyancy. Go search for it on google. :P

1.There is no real visual difference between them. They have simply reviewed and refined the current version. But it is believed as Gmod 11 beta, as the recent update altered alot of features.

1 see able example is in gm_construct, you can see the small mound which is in the middle of the water lake has been removed, and the water has been turned from a murky colour to a clear shiny water.

2. If you bought your garrysmod from the official website, then it is the main one and will be up to date

Well I only used 1 version of PHX, which was PHX2, i recommend getting PHX3. But if you mean the PHX props themselves then yes i used alot of them XD. But i didnt just use PHX mod, but wire also.

Well at the moment it is technically Gmod 11 beta, which basically means it is Gmod 10 but with addons and updates that are going to gradually going to be updated into Gmod 11. This is my view anyway (but it is called Gmod 11 beta).

I'm not quite sure what you mean, Do you mean how to enter the maze? If so then on the front of the maze will be 2 buttons and 3 screens, one saying "Open in: 10" press the left button where it says start and then wait until the door opens. Watch the video again to see this happen. Hope this helps^^

Well wire is basically, a series of chips (like a computer) that can work together through a series of values (numbers). In my maze i mainly used time based chips to make the platforms and doors work at intervals. Lol alot of words there for ya ^^

You are partially correct the maze is numpad controlled, but i do not touch the numpad (the numpad is used to control the maze manually) but the computer times and controls it all on its own. The evidence is in the video i couldnt have controlled all those mechanisms, while going through the maze at the same time.
