When Black & White it took me a few months to really warm up to the album. With Pioneer at first I didn't want to give it a chance. Now, I guess i'll buy the album and put it on repeat, but it's like digesting something bitter and bland.

There was no more than 40 people there. The band played like 5 songs and that was it. I'm proud to say 4 years later they still inspire me and are my absolute favorite. i feel like the maine is so much more depressing than it used to be. i want to know what happened to the smiling drunk guys that were at the concert i was at, because these songs don't make me wanna dance, they make me wanna cry. i'm trying super hard because they're my favorite band, but i dont know if i love them like i used to. <3 wish i did.

Awh to bare bad of news they are tired and broken down talking to their guitarist and singer recently on their tour with TBS they the guitarist talked about how he just missed home and wanted their contract to be over! Like every band, they matured. Their music is more about them then it ever has. It's not pointless music, it's who they are, it's them. I think it's great that we can see them grow as a band, and those of you who say it's getting worse, in my opinion, their music is better then ever before. I will always love CSWS, but this will stick with me more emotionally.
They're wonderful, and I will NEVER give up on them.

@houseofregret Agree with everything except for "if you were a real fan, you'd stick with them through everything." People say that a lot. But I disagree. You can be a fan of something, and if they change against your liking, you don't have to be a fan of the new. Like some people are fans of The Maine, but they are fans of the old Maine. You know? It's really hard to explain. Even people who don't love the new Maine can still be fans of their old stuff, so they're still fans.

@houseofregret YEAH man, I will always be with them and ima 15 years old boy (it doesnt matter but those who have problems with it face me >:D) and I just starting listening to them like months ago, I become their biggest fan xD For all I know they getting bigger and being mature and yes "GROWING UP" their music inspire me to play the guitar..The Maine, I will listen to every one of your songs even though you grow old, being mature or your music change, I will still be your FAN! <3 (NO HOMO) xD

@TheKboss31 I'm not saying you have to like it. And I'm not saying you can't have an opinion. I'm just saying that you should be open minded. Even if you don't like their new sound, or the album cover at that, at least TRY to listen to it rather than automatically judging it. So many people who call themselves fans are completely shutting out their new sound. The Maine aren't the same people they were back in the "The Way We Talk" days. You can't expect them to make the same music forever.

@houseofregret You shouldn't say someone isn't a real fan because they aren't sticking with the maine now. People fell in love with them for their old sound, and it's expected that there will be some fans that don't enjoy the complete change they've gone through. It doesn't make them bad people, it just doesn't appeal to them. It doesn't make them any less of a "real fan".

Like every band, they matured. Their music is more about them then it ever has. It's not pointless music, it's who they are, it's them. I think it's great that we can see them grow as a band, and those of you who say it's getting worse, in my opinion, their music is better then ever before. I will always love CSWS, but this will stick with me more emotionally.
They're wonderful, and I will NEVER give up on them.
