Malmsteen's picking accuracy is perfect in this concert where he plays with the orchestra. When he plays with his band, he doesnt really concentrate on what he is playing and just keeps improvising all the time (at least nowdays). You can see in this video that he is focused all the time, clearly playing for the listeners and not just for his own delight

Count the times when most of the orchestra plays exactly the same thing as Malmsteen.

It feels like something someone with no knowledge of music outside of 2 lessons on classical music theory would make in a midi composing program in 2 hours, note the pointless choir that has no other part than the occasional 2 bars of background.

The whole thing is annoyingly bland, offensively tasteless.

If you don't know why repetition is boring, it's hard to define, but if you don't think repetition is boring, then you are a sad person. Repetitiveness can be hidden with for example, variations or lyrics. Even the classical composers(which Malmsteen tries to emulate) knew this. That was about 250 years ago. Forms such as sonata or rondo allow variations in the theme.
