Idk....I noticed at the time trials...I could stand all the other car's warming up....but Ron's seemed to be burning a little richer than the others.....plus as was walking away I was coughing little smoke puffs lol. God...you have to love Nitro gonna get another fix here in a couple of weeks
Nitric acid is filling your sinuses from the nitro fumes . It's the same stuff in onions except much more intense ! I remember fuel cars back in the late 70's / early 80's and you could stand near the pits during warmup and take it alright . These days , it's BRUTAL to even be anywhere near a warmup ! Apparently , if you inhale too much nitric acid , it will shut down your respiratory system . It's funny , you pay $100 to go to a race to be tear gassed !

Exactly. And we do it again year after year. It is addictive. Looks like the camera person got a lil bit to big of dose.
