  • @MrDimairt Not being a Scot, I can't comment on whether the dialogue is "cliche ridden", but the writer Peter McDougall was a decorator by trade, he was encouraged to write by Colin Welland...his writing is drawn from life, so he knows of what he writes.

    Hutchison is ( was, as he's no longer acting ) one of Britain's most compelling actors & Miller is superb imo.
