@dnaisinmybody No, it doesn't have midi, but you could record audio loops into flstudio and chop the audio if there are any bits with dodgy timing(which there probably will be tbh).

MicroKorg's are amazing. People buy the Kaossilator because it's fun. It's battery powered and you can practically take it anywhere. It's just a little fun thing to have around when you're bored. There's a guy who made a whole album with a Kaossilator and nothing else. It's pretty good. I want one myself :) A lot of people also like this because you can record songs on the spot with crazy layers.

The worst things about this thing seem to be: it takes batteries. It doesn't come with an AC adapter. No midi. It takes batteries. I fucking hate batteries. Nanopad is much better and much cheaper.

the beat created at 2:20 is literally one of the sickest beats ever. Literally, it could be endlessly repeating and i could just take some rolls and DANCE to that shit for hours.

I play drums and watching this vid convinced me to buy the Kaossilator thanks :)

Wow....easy buddy, it's not really that crazy.

Get yourself a Kaossilator and you can't do this stuff no problem.

The biggest issue with the Kaossilator for me, and the reason I got rid of it, is the fact that you're stuck with the volume and panning of each patch, so things end up sounding very very unmixed and amateur as you start layering more and more.

Half the fun of synths is building patches, and hopefully that will be brought to the next Kaossialtor model. I can't wait.
