Helmet visors are indeed UV blockers, but never for 100%. This makes it possible for the ProtecTint to change colour. The Maximum of darkeness for the ProtecTint will be between light smoke and dark smoke, depending on temperature and the amount of UV radiation..
Have on on order. I am surprised you could not locate a dealer. Mine fits a Shoei multitec. Flip down internal visors flip up into a space which would normally be occupied by protective padding, hence internal sunvisors have sharp ratings less than 3.
I can't find this for sale anywhere, and I don't understand how you could make a clear insert behind the visor that gets dark. Either your visor absorbs visible light (not clear) or requires UV, in which case it won't work behind a UV blocking visor (most visors).
They will be available again in February / March

@pinlocksystems Will they be available in the United States as well? I really need this for my RF1100.

Would this be dark enough to cut the glare of the low autumn sun and would this therefore have no legal issues?

@morpheus20170 I think this is a personal thing. About the legal issues, officially the ProtecTint is "track use only"
