  • I took a very memorable flight on this jet in July of 2005. Please post when it is finished maintenance in Amman. :-)

  • I wold be happy to do so,but i doubt that it will return to Lisbon...

  • From all of the operating crew thanks for the video.

  • Airplane is still in Amman getting repairs done, will start operating in a few days between Jeddah and Nigeria.

    Great pictures,

From all of the crew: Thanks for the video.

  • Wow this must be N194AT, the last standard body L10 that ATA operated (boy do I miss the distinct sound of the RB211-22b on the L-1011-1/100 someting the 524's on the -500 donot have). N194AT was originally to be used as parts for an L10 Freighter that was damaged in Miami but good to see that it was not and that it is still plowing the skies. It was late build L10 originally delivered to TWA in 1982.

  • I too love that distinct sound. It is almost like a drone of bagpipes. I worked for ATA for 20 years and flew 194 many times.

  • muito bom

  • Thought all L1011s had been grounded years ago.

  • Love this plane and the sound of the RB 211s. Thanks great piece of history.
