He needs stay on his feet and not give up unnecessary corners and close shot rebounds and a few of those balls looked like they here headed out of bounds anyway and he just gave the other team corner kicks. Granted there here some very good JV HS saves in there.

Meh, these were average saves. Many of these he could of saved without diving. Making a pretty save isn't going to help if you are giving up corners and rebounds. If you stay on your more you will have a better chance saving the ball, especially if you take that extra step.

The funny thing about the comments are that people say they where OK saves, but the olny way to beat these saves is to do a double back filp then save it. So people thing before you type.

if those are his top saves of the season, then either he has tremendous defense or isnt very good.  all 10 were mediocre/slightly above average saves that most decent High School GK's should make. if he plans on ever playing college ball then he needs to work on not giving up rebounds and trying to make every save look "good". you'll piss off your defenders if you're constantly giving up ridiculous corners just to look good

thats the beauty tho.. I'm a goaltender and when your a golatender and can master the art of diving.. you make the most dramatic saves that you possibly can. 1. It's entertaining to the crowd 2. It shows to your team that altho unneccessary - I was there to save your ass (defence)
