  • wow I like your work what kind of airbrush you use can you please give me all the details about the airbrush cos I am planing to order one but so afraid since I dont have no experience in that

    Thanks

  • Thank you! Glad you like my work. :) No need to be afraid. Airbrushing is very simple. All airbrushes pretty much do the same. Buy yourself something cheap so that you can practice. I use an IWATA Eclipse. :)

  • cake boss is nothing compared to this!

  • You're so sweet. Thank you! :)

  • its gorgeous Laura!

  • I'm so happy you liked it! Thank you!!!! ;)

  • Awesome!!! :)

Also 1 question, is the gumpateyou used edible?

  • Thank you so much! Yes it is all edible. :)

  • Cool cake Laura, I love Mickey and how was your trip to beautiful San Diego?

  • Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! San Diego was BEAUTIFUL! Went to a lot of beaches! :)

  • Thank you so much Janella! I'm so happy you liked it!!!! Happy New Year and God bless you too! :)

  • oooooh I love it!

  • Beautiful as always! You work is always so polished and professional looking. I envy that, lol! I heard that you used Satin Ice on this cake. Did you not like FondX? It's so smooth and looks great. Can you share the recipe you used for the filling? I have someone who wants a fruit filling.

  • Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! :) I love Fondx! I also love Satin Ice! The filling was store bought. Thanks for watching! :)

  • @laurapoopie Oh okay, Thanks again.

  • You're welcome! :)

  • oh I absolutely love it.. especially the letters on the board!!! how did he get them into the board? what type board do you use?

  • Thank you so much! I put the stars on the board by sticking the skewer that is in each star into the board at the bottom. I use foam core. When you get a chance, watch my tutorial called "How To Cover A Cake Board With Fondant". I show the boards there and talk a lot about them. :)

  • Is it easy to attach the ears to the cap? I have a cake like this coming up this weekend. I am scared the cap might fall off. I plan to make it in gumpaste and put a lollipop stick. I noticed you used 2?

Thanks so much for creating these videos. Makes a newbie like me to strive harder...

  • Hi! The ears aren't really "attached" per say. Each ear has a wooden skewer in it and then the skewer is inserted into the cake. You are so welcome and when you get a chance, check out my latest tutorial on how to stack cakes. I show you how to ensure your tiers don't fall off. :)

  • Wonderful!!

  • Thank you! :)

  • Great job! Another super cute cake! Your fondant is always so smooth. What's your secret?

  • Thank you! Glad you liked it! No secret at all. :) Smooth icing underneath. :)

  • BELLO :D

  • Gracias! :)

  • I love all the details you put on your cakes, I believe you just may be a perfectionist. Great job!

  • Thank you! LOL! I don't know about perfectionist but as long as I improve from one cake to the next, I am HAPPY! Haha! Glad you liked it! :)
