The only issue I have with the checkpoint system is that it doesn't actually save; the only time the game saves is at the end of a chapter. So if you're stuck on a part of the chapter and want to go to sleep or whatever, but not leave the system on the entire time then you're SOL because you'll have to load up the beginning of that chapter to do it all over.

Otherwise, all good survival horrors have them to build tension & eventually a sigh of relief. The concept is fine, execution is poor.

Chapter 5 isn't that hard once you work out the infection side of lanas gameplay. The checkpoints yeah are few and far between but they're placed in good areas. I did the whole game in hard with about 10 deaths in total. When people learn how to play the game using the mechanics in the right way then its nowhere near as frustrating as everyone says

If anyone on Youtube can beat this game it's Brad. His awesome puzzle solving abilities and patience are part of what makes him so Rad. The checkpoint system in AMY is really horrible though. One mistake and the last 45 minutes of gameplay go poof! and if you can't finish the chapter in one sitting you have to redo the whole fraking chapter. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!
