listen to daytime confidential's recap of the emmy's - one of the journalists said that he's friends with kirsten in real life and she is really looking forward to being paired up with jason again onscreen. he also talked to jason after the emmy's and jason said he & kirsten are very confident that they can recreate their on-screen chemistry

That doesn't necessarily mean they meant in a romantic way. Having fire when they (Maxie/Matt) argue is totally not the same thing as Maxie finally getting a happy ending with Spinelli! Chemistry between actors is great but it can mean a million different things.

I think it's great that Spinelli keep Maxie grounded in GH but their chemistry is only as far as 'friendship' goes or maybe it's just me; in the other hand, her chemistry with Matt is just CRAZY!!!

Anyone who watched Jason & Kirsten as Shawn & Belle in Days of Our Lives could agree that there's this chemistry between the two actors. It was because of those two that I started watching soaps (DAYS only) but then I stopped after she left Days. I think now I will take time to watch GH! :D

Well I don't know about "classic Shelle" because that was then and this is now. Bradford and Kirsten have explosive chemistry on screen and I for one and many others with me feel that Spinelli and Maxie is the interesting story. I do hope that JC brings some interesting story to the screen (there are rumors he may be related to Spin) but truly think that Spinelli and Maxie would smoke like no other couple currently on Daytime. They show it every time they work together.

Kirsten and Jason are very close and there screen on is pretty awesome. Also matt and maxie will have "Known" eachother from before when they bump into eachother Thursday. Why are they doing this? to get the chemistry clicking. Trust me you will fall in love with them.. Spin will be great friends to both. She wants her character to be in love and find happiness i bet will see her n Jason happy and in love soon. I cant wait, GH clearly wanted JC for the right reason people read between the lines

Just because you think shelle were good doesnt mean that Matt/Maxie will be the same. They're different characters now it's a totally different show. It may work it may not but people cant base their opinion on what they used to see on a different show until they've seen both new characters actually have scenes together on GH
