exactly what i was going to say. analog harldy gets effected by storms. digital well even a light shower will put it out.
analog has a wave that never stops and the lower the frequency the more places analog can get to. digital travels in bits each bit contains 1's and 0 (binary) digital always stops as far as range of digital i dunno.

I think it was a little bit ironic that when you were talking about digital removing "noise and distortion" that the audio was clipping somewhat.
